My aunt was there for 4 years. Nurses and Admn on care about money. Would never recommend them ever
We never even got admitted. Total non communication and misinformation. We dealt with Ingrid, in admissions, and she was terrible.
My Mom is on 4th floor, less than 3 weeks, daily fights with her getting changed. already missed doses of medication. Nurses/CNS's, most don't care, have come across a couple that do care, and just don't have the help, very sad, because the place is beautiful and the perfect location. But the stress is not worth it. Just came from another facility with similar issues, getting a Lawyer for that one, guess I will add to the list. I do understand that NO place is perfect, but goodness, really!! Looking here for my Mom in independent living since it’s a catholic facility and looks very nice. Unfortunately after at least a dozen attempts to speak with someone, phone, email, website... I tried it all several times, no one will return my inquiries. They must be at full capacity ...
My mother was here for rehab in December and January. Her care was so poor that her abdominal wound became infected due to the neglect by the aides and nursing on the third floor. Initially she developed a urinary tract infection, then a severe fungal infection from her back to her posterior knees. Her wound became severely infected when she was left to sit in her own feces MULTIPLE TIMES which soaked up and saturated her abdominal bandage covering the wound. While researching nursing home options for my aunt who has terminal cancer, I reached out to admissions for more information about this facility. During our short conversation, I was interrupted repeatedly asking me call back once our medicaid application was approved. I tried to explain the urgency of my aunts condition and that we were in the position to private pay until Medicaid is approved, but she continued to talk over me with answers to questions I wasn't asking.
