As a lighting novice, we trusted the folks at Shelby Design to lead us in the right direction and they did not disappoint. The manager, Misty, shared her expertise in helping us with decisions and was extremely knowledgeable. She really knew her lighting trends and designs. The entire team helped out and now our new home is the envy of our neighbors due to our unique and stunning lighting fixtures. Well worth making the trip.
Sylvia helped me pick out an absolutely stunning linear chandelier for over our dinning table. Even though the light was on back order, my wife and I decided that it was THE one. Sylvia kept us in the loop often about when it would arrive and got to us early! Would recommend these guys and Sylvia in particular to help you with your lighting needs!
Greg Holmes at the Shelby Design Center was a tremendous help in the details design of our living room. Greg gave design advice on not only the lighting choices, but also the final choices for flooring with the help of Tim and Mark in the flooring department. Everyone in the Design Center has been helpful, even on install day as to the perfect heights for hanging chandeliers. I would highly recommend the Shelby Design Center for any home decorating projects.
Working with the Shelby Design Center for our light fixtures was hands down the best decision we made as first time home builders. Jennie from Shelby Design walked through our roughed in structure mid-construction to help us determine where additional lighting may be beneficial and to evaluate the space to determine fixture sizes. I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience at Shelby Design Center, and about working with Jennie in particular. As we were shopping for fixtures for our newly constructed home, Jennie had already walked the house, reviewed the plans, and knew exactly what we needed for each room.
