I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident We have a friend that lives in the memory care section of The Pines at Davidson. It's a very nice and very clean facility. They've just undergone a major expansion. She got a studio-type room, and she can either go down for her meals or they would bring the food to her room. They also have a gym and a heated pool, and other facilities. Their dining area is very nice too. You don't smell any urine in there. They keep it very, very clean. It is just expensive.

I visited this facility The Pines provide three meals a day and they have some sort of meal plan for the seniors. It's a progressive community, they offer everything down to full nursing facilities. The person that gave us the tour seemed rushed. It was really nice and the rooms were twice as big as the other place we visited. The only thing we didn't like about it was that you have to pay for an expensive buy-in. They showed us a studio apartment which was very nice and roomy, and a one-bedroom which I loved.

I visited this facility The Pines was topnotch at everything. The cleanliness, the care, the attention, the up kept of the grounds, re-doing the inside periodically and the food were all topnotch. They had indoor pool. They had exercise equipment. They had studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. They had a bus that took them on trips, to groceries and doctor's appointment. I liked their location. They had box gardens where they could grow vegetables. They had walking trails.

I visited this facility We toured The Pines and we liked it. We liked what they did with the care and how they did it. You had a choice of a room, an apartment, a condo and a cabin. I liked the private room where you could bring your friends in. They had everything. We were familiar with the area. It was very modern and clean.

I visited this facility We apartment and the villas at Pines at Davidson are all very nice. I visited the place and everything looked fairly new and clean. My initial impression was very favorable. The people seemed friendly. The one thing that we didn't like is that they have an informal relationship with a church. They had a chapel which represented the denomination of the Presbyterian Church and we really didn't want to be affiliated with a particular church. I am a friend or relative of a resident My cousin lives at The Pines at Davidson and we actually went to see the place. My father and all of his brothers went to Davidson so it's kind of like going back to a family place. It's a beautiful campus. They really encourage walking and bird watching and communing with nature and all those good things. They have about everything you could want in terms of amenities. They really have good food. I visited this facility The Pines was great. It was just around the corner from my house and it had beautiful homes. It had a gorgeous pool and had tons of things going on. The town is very active there and the Pines is very active in the town.

I am a friend or relative of a resident It was a wonderful place in the sleepy college town of Davidson, North Carolina. My grandmother moved in about 6 years ago after much looking and consideration. The staff was very professional, extremely friendly and detail oriented. My family could not have imagined a better place for her to spend her final years. She made many friends and her days were filled with many activities, speakers and outing into the community.
