Been talking to a fella in Service, Ben. 99 Suby Outback that needs work. I can’t express how helpful and knowledgable and honest he and his team have been... my Sub has been on the lot for 3 WEEKS! Ben, “no problem man, lets figure it out...” nothing pushy nothing aggressive, just helping me solve my problem... thank you guys.... a lot.. more »

We have visited this facility three times, have not bought a car in this dealership , but, have had service work done. Our dealing with the service department has been outstanding. We have dealt with BEN on each occasion and have found him to be VERY professional in all respects.
knowledgeable, courteous and prompt sums Ben up very well, we will continue to visit this dealership as long as people like Ben represent the dealership. Ben is a real asset to Subaru and this dealership.

I brought my Kia in for an oil change because this dealerships is right down the street from my house. Ben was my service advisor. He informed me that I had a break light out and suggested to have that fixed. He went above and beyond for me even tho I did not own a Subaru. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a dealership to date. more »

These guys, especially Ben and Casey, are fantastic. A friend's VW Bus broke down just outside of Nampa, on the way back to Denver, Coloraod, on a Saturday no less. These amazing guys actually stayed late - after 5PM - on a Saturday - to help get the problem fixed and back on the road. And for what it's worth, the fix was *not* a straightforward one. They were able to root out the problem, diagnose and fix it within an hour or so. Our friends were able to get back on the road and made it back to Denver the next day! I was on my way back to Portland when my windshield was hit by something and cracked near Twin Falls. It was a Sunday afternoon and TV Subaru was the only dealership open near me. Ty had been staying on top of my car repair and had the work done with the glass company my insurance assigned in a week so I could be back on the road. Best service I’ve ever had from a car dealership. more »

Best experience I've had buying a car. JP helped me find a car that would best fit the needs of my growing family. Not only did JP find the car, but made sure I was getting the best deal possible. The finance was super easy and quick. I had a preapproval before shopping they werent pushy and with my permission found a better interest rate on a shorter term. Would recommend buying a car from these guys. Their focus is on family and not on your wallet. more »

Ty was absolutely amazing! He made it a very quick and smooth experience and brought multiple things up about my car to my attention! Times are very tough lately for all of us but Ty is managing to keep a very positive attitude about it all! Buying a new vehicle is such a delightful experience at TVS. We just purchase our first Subura. The entire process was so relaxed and inviting that we now walk in the door feeling like a new family member. Every employee there from the service techs to the sales and finance staff work to the highest levels of customer service!!! Amazing in every way! This is one of the first reviews we have ever written, but after our awesome experience , we felt compelled to share in hopes of helping someone else who may have had nothing but negative past experiences with car dealers/salesman like we have. Our daughter was getting ready to head to her first year of college and had saved some money to buy her first car so we went shopping. We came across Treasure Valley Subaru kind of by accident, but quickly realized it was right where we needed to be. We were met right when we drove in by Jacob and we told him exactly what we were looking for as well as the budget we had to work with. Soon after, Jacob introduced us to Gary and we were shown some options. Within these options was a 2013 Subaru legacy that my daughter fell in love with. While it was more that we had in the budget, it did fit what we were looking for in regards to safety and reliability. Gary had expressed that it was a vehicle he would feel comfortable putting his own daughter in, which I appreciated. I know that car salesman know exactly what to say to make their sale, but this was different. I got a real feeling that both Gary and Jacob really did care and it wasn't just about money. The entire vibe within that building is so different ...very positive. Because they both felt so strongly that this car was going to be the best fit for my daughter, they went above and beyond to make it happen. They lowered the price of the car and gave us a well above blue book price for our trade in and by that evening, my daughter was driving her new car home! They made the whole experience very special for her.
This is where is got tricky. Unfortunately, the next day the check engine light came on which was worrisome as the vehicle had just been through a huge inspection at the dealer before we bought it but, we took it back in and they fixed it (spark plug issue) and we got it back the next day. The next morning, the check engine light was back on so back it went. This time we were told it was a coil issue and would be about $300 to fix. They happily gave us a loaner vehicle and said we would get the car back in a couple days. My husband called the general manager, Rob, and explained everything to him that had happened since buying the car and while he didn't have to, because we bought the vehicle as is, he told us ALL costs would be covered. This was such a relief to us and a huge integrity move! Most people would have taken the commission and ran, but not this group. They did not have to step up and cover the repair costs as there was no legal obligation on their part, but they did! Our phone calls were never avoided or diverted during this process either, which was so encouraging and helpful. A huge Thank You to Rob, Gary and Jacob as well as Ty and Kevin from the service department ...you guys are all awesome! I have already told at least half a dozen friends about this place and we will definitely be back! If you are looking for a positive car buying experience with a group of people that aren't just in it for the money, go see the amazing group at Treasure Valley Subaru in Nampa!
