Regular dentist was closed after my cap fell out, ocean family was the only dentist in the area who cared enough to say come right in. I ended up getting the cap back on myself and didn't need to go in, but the staff was so incredibly kind and helpful that I felt they deserved a review. The people at the front desk were exceptional and I would recommend them just based on how kind they were. I'm sure the rest of the practice runs similarly.

My daughter fell and knocked her tooth loose Friday night, and Dr Gilbert seen her without an appointment and never going there before, I am greatly appreciative for everyone there!! Thank you!

I am only leaving 3 stars because it wasn't that the office itself was bad, but we were given false info that seemed slightly disingenuous. My husband has minor spacing in his teeth for his top teeth only. They are very straight, and bottom is close to perfect, he just has gaps in the top - I saw on Ocean Family Dental's website that they do Six Month Smiles and thought that would be the perfect option for him.

"You may remember the "train track metal mouth" look from years ago. Six Month Smiles *braces* uses tooth-colored (white) brackets and wires. They're barely visible! Six Month Smiles *Braces* are appropriate for correcting spaces, gaps, crooked, or crowded teeth."

I called and inquired about this exactly and they said yes, they do it and we scheduled a consult. However, when we got there, they pitched Invisalign and when we mentioned the braces with tooth-colored brackets and wires, they said "We don't do that here." 🤨 But the website advertises that they do AND I was told over the phone that they do, so is that just a set-up to get you in the door?

It would have been nice to be told this upfront. We were not trying to make a consult for Invisalign as we know it's likely out of our price range, unfortunately. I don't like wasting anyone's time or my own, so I like clarity and upfront information.

After weeks of minor pain Had lost my father a few weeks before so the last thing i had time for was a tooth for a few weeks a got by until Last Saturday when I woke up with a tooth ach that was so extremally sever I could not stop putting Orgel on it constantly. When I called I had never been to their practice but they told me to come right over and within 10 mins in waiting room he had seen me and gave me Novocain and numbed the affected tooth 1st to get me outta the pain. Then he began a root canal. Dr. Gilbert is the Most gentile Dentist I've ever had.
Not to mention the office is Beautifully Done

I had a bad fall a few weeks ago ocean family dental got me in right away to check the situation after 2 weeks I was brought in to have my front tooth fix by Dr Navillo he was awesome I didn't even feel the needle he fixed my front tooth and you can't even tell it was chipped, the staff was also caring, I get anxiety so bad and cry every time I go there, they made me feel comfortable thank ocean family dental

Great dental practice. A special thanks to Jasmine, a hygienist that is professional and thorough. I have nothing to offer about the dentists because the hygienists have kept my teeth in very good condition.

In the ship bottom office I had Tonya do a cleaning… she was top notch… kind and very thorough! .. She took the time to explain and educate me on the process… I’ll ask for her for next cleaning…Dr Bramlette examined my teeth and I felt very comfortable with her guidance. Good “chair side” manner. A very good experience!

Had to come in today for a tooth extraction I scheduled 2 weeks ago. The last 2 days the tooth got really infected. Dr.Wittke was absolutely great he assured me everything that was going on and that they would be able to extract the tooth unless I felt a lot of pain. It was absolutely painless and he was very gentle in pulling it out. I am forever grateful for releaving my pain! Highly recommended!

I’ve been a patient for 19 years . The office staff was excellent , friendly and efficient and the office was very clean . Dr Gilbert is the best dentist ! Professional, compassionate and skilled!

I have been going to Dr. Gilbert since 1988, when we were having a tough go of it. He was so gentle and kind, making it possible for me to get the care I needed at the time. Today I cannot always see Dr. Gilbert, but in time of need he always makes time for an appointment to see him! He is like a friend.

I have never have had any problems with anything ive been going here for 15 years now and if you cant make ur appointment they set you up fast with another one they have done amazing work on my teeth

Believe it or not, I actually enjoy going to my dentist. He and the staff treat me GREAT, from the dental hygenist's , x-ray tech, dental assistant to the dentist. I have NO complaints. They ALL do a wonderful job.

Terrific dental team here. Everyone, treats us right! Dr. Martín is an excellent professional. Lisa knows the way around my quirks. Am glad they are persisting through the pandemic. Even the temps are excellent. The office works with you to provide the best possible dental care. Am grateful for their hard and quality work

Dental assistant Kathy and Dentist Dr. Marano were amazing! I think it is safe to say that nobody "enjoys" going to the dentist but these two amazing ladies made the experience enjoyable! I cannot thank Kathy enough for being so caring during the cleaning and making sure I was okay during the entire process. They both were so gentle and kind and took the time to explain things to me and answer all of my questions. Not only are they great at their jobs, but they both seem like wholesome human beings! And the entire office had a wonderful vibe to it, from the lady that took my xrays (sorry I did not get your name) to the front desk receptionists that scheduled my appointment, everyone was wonderful!

1st time to a dentist in 30 years. Very nice staff. I will be back.

I was very upset when the pandemic came in and my April 30th appointment was of course cancelled. A few days ago I was riding by and saw cars in parking lot. I went in to make an appointment but was told to call in the future not just come in as I did. The woman behind the desk did, however, took my name and number. I was called a few days later and had my appointment today, June 8th. Sherry was terrific and very professional. Your protocols are so comforting and I felt very safe. The staff at the front desk were cordial and my thanks to the woman who got me in for this appointment. I would recommend anyone who cares about their teeth health. Thank you again Sherry you are a pro.

I had broken my tooth on a Friday and was able to get an emergency appointment for Monday. The office is quiet, immaculate and runs very smoothly. The staff was kind and the dentist and assistant did such a wonderful job bonding and matching my tooth color, my tooth looks like nothing ever happened. I’m SO pleased.

Love the staff! It begins with a friendly welcome and continues with all staff and services. The staff truly cares about their patients.

Lisa Basile is an awesome Hygienist! thorough, precise and gentle. The dentist that did my exam was a real stiff. No personality. A stark contrast to Lisa.

I needed serious dental work when I walked in- they were kind and made me feel less embarrassed that I waited so long. Since then they have been kind and considerate everytime. I’m also in the process of an implant which was painless! Amazing
