They come and measure your house for a quote then ask you to sign a contract within 3 days and half the money needs to be paid upfront which we paid everything upfront and day of installation they tell us they under quoted us that it’s going to be an additional $1200 and if not paid then they will stop halfway through the project! After a few months called and asked about warranty and they took a month to come out and look/repair the job then to call me the next day to tell me it wasn’t covered under warranty and I’d be stuc... read more
The install part was ok, but Randy the salesperson was not. I will not come back to this company. I had an issue and called him, he said never called me back to see if my problem had been taken care of.
Horrible service. Baseboard destroyed during install, hardwood floor refinishing was sloppy and rushed, carpet not installed correctly. The salesman who was more than happy to come to the house for a sale couldn't be bothered to come out and look at the damage. Wouldn't ever use them again and warn everyone I can about the horrible service. Use ANYONE else.
We called a week ago and talked to someone on the phone about getting new carpet. We came in today to see what was available in our price range like the salesman on the phone said to do. With in a minute of walking in, an older gentleman came to help us. We told him we had talked to someone and were ready to look at options. He asked who we had talked to. ( we were getting several quotes ) we couldnt remember. From right there, he become stand offish. He didnt think he would be getting the comission so he didnt want to help ... read more
Academy colors was great with install and set up. The installer put our toilet in and it was leaking on the underside unbeknownst to us. The floor began to bow and raise and we called them to come out and we were basically blamed for supposedly flooding our toilet. Then I called months later because it was getting worse and they were rude and once again basically blaming us for all damage. You'll like your flooring from there but once the floors are in.... Expect NOTHING but RUDE service.
