I called All American Flooring to get a quote on replacing hardwood floors. ***** A**** came to my home to inspect my issues with previously purchased hardwoods. He was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He gave me several options to try before I replace them...and important information I did not have regarding lifetime warranties. I worked with ****** in Carrollton and he was very helpful with picking a carpet within our budget--no hard sales tactics and we love the quality and look of what was installed! I highly recommend working with him!
AAF is not a normal flooring company, as they do no leveling or flattening, but failed to mention this until after our laminate was installed on a subfloor with low points up to . *** said that in particular they do not level wood subfloors, but they also dont do basic flattening, like adding shims or extra underlayment. ?? 70% Deposit & 35% Restocking Fee Even If You Cancel Same Day!I paid All American Flooring a 70% deposit in good faith. Within hours, I canceled no work had started, no materials delivered, and no project meeting had even been scheduled. At first, they agreed to refund me. Then they reversed course and demanded a 35% restocking fee for products I never saw or received.And I never signed their full contract. All American flooring in ***** legit lied to us and said Mohawk flooring was good to put in restrooms and water proof. After 14 months it has swelled up and doesnt not look like its meant for damp places. They lied to get the sell across the finish line. They said they would come look at it and it has been a couple weeks and no contact. I will be taking legal action if issue does not get resolved.

As an addendum to my prior compliant about All American Flooring. The associate ******* reached out to me to inquire if the brick on my fireplace was cut to accommodate sliding the new rosewood hardwood flooring under the hearth. I was absurdly asked if this was done regardless of the fact that Merdin the flooring manager was in my house Monday yet failed to introduce himself to me and we did not do a final walk through. ***** was my sales person who was very deceptive & manipulative as a flooring specialist.The day the floors were supposed to be installed I was previously informed that there would be a installation manager on sight at all times of which there only three hispanic contractors. I attemtped to call ***** yet got rerouted to the office as I was tempted to cancel the contract.
