Covenant Living of Golden Valley's focus has changed dramatically from providing the best care possible for its residents to how much money can be brought in. The staff are overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. The residents receive minimal care and are treated like numbers instead of the valued human beings they are. Covenant Living used to be very good but unfortunately that is not the case anymore.

Dirty and disorganized, lacking in care. The photo of the bathroom says it all. Sorry I could not post the smell but looking at the dirty tub they simply put a board over it, in lieu of cleaning. Photo 2 is with the board lifted so you can see the tub. Classy! We can check off this place for rehab.
The food is terrible! Most often cold, over spicy and salty, meat tough.
RecommendedI have worked at Covenant Living for over seven years. It's a dependable job that has many benefits for their full time employees such as affodable health insurance and a perscription progam, 403(B), Dental & Vision, Life Insurance for the employee & their family, FMLA, the list goes on. Everything you need plus a living wage. Besides all the above, I feel like I work in a community that cares about me and is interested in how they care for and treat their employees. I think I'll stay for awhile longer.
