I am/was a resident of this facility Have you had positive experiences at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes? – Yes! I have had positive comments on the writing of two books. The last one, I co-authored with my son, Rocky Nichols: Memories Are Life’s Highway and Souvenirs, Stories and Perspective. Comment from residents, family, and many more who have read the books have been very gratifying. The last couple of months have been filled with several concerts and Christmas programs. They were part of our “Life Connections,” a ... read more

I visited this facility Covenant Village was very nice. We like everything about it. It was very neat, clean, pleasant, and very well-kept. They have a big park area where you can enjoy the outdoors in the summertime. The rooms were good. The people were very responsive. They gave us an opportunity to talk with some of the residents there. The tour guide knew the residents. She would say hello to them and then they would say a few words to us. That was a very nice part of the tour.

I visited this facility Covenant Village of the Great Lakes was fabulous and alive. People were doing things for other people since it is spiritually based. I have my application in there. Everything has been very good. We have had several meals there, like a four-course dinner that was delicious and appealing. There are all kinds of activities and a pool, a hot tub, a woodworking shop, arts studio, arts and crafts room, thrift store, and a library. There were many things to do.

I am a friend or relative of a resident My mother-in-law was at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes for rehab, and it was fine. It's a very large, very nice, and beautiful facility. As far as rehab, her care was great. She probably was in the best health that she was in for years.

I visited this facility I thought Covenant Village of the Great Lakes was beautiful but very expensive. I couldn’t afford it. It was a very nice place with different kinds of apartments. They had all kinds of activities, too. The staff was very nice, the dining area was beautiful, and the food was delicious. It was a good experience.

I am a friend or relative of a resident Covenant Village of the Great Lakes was a little bit too expensive for me. The people were nice, and they had a lot of activities going on. The rooms were quite spacious. They were nice. I have eaten there, and the meals were very good. If you can afford it, it could be a nice place to stay.

I visited this facility Covenant Village of the Great Lakes was nice and clean, but it reminded me of living in a dorm. It was cheery, but it didn't strike me. When you walk in, they have the dining room tables, and there are four to six people at a table. It was nice talking to the staff.

I am a friend or relative of a resident My mother was at Covenant Village. She stayed there for three months. They helped her out a lot, which is what she needed because she fell and broke her wrist. It was a very nice place. It was a very good place. The staff was very good. They had an incident with one of the ladies while my mother was there. Other people had complained about it because she was rough, and they took care of it. They were very good. My mother shared a room with another lady, and they had their own bathroom ... read more

I am a friend or relative of resident My grandmother lives at Covenant Village. Her main home is in the Independent area of living. Then, unfortunately, before Christmas 2011 she had a stroke and is in the rehab/skilled nursing area of Covenant. We have been very happy with Covenant Village. Everyone is very pleasant. My family feels that Grandma is in very good hands.
