Thornton Flooring Thornton Fooring was started in Richard and Dawn Thorntons' garage in 1975. They had three rolls of carpet and two rolls of vinyl. Today, Richard and Dawn have retired and passed the torch to Matt Thornton who has been active in the business for over 25 years. We had new flooring installed on our main floor. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Justin and Justin installed our new carpet this morning and I just had to share what a wonderful experience it was. They were both very professional and kind. It looks absolutely amazing, they even vacuumed for me before they left and as a mom of a toddler that means a lot to me. Luke Hobmeier did an excellent job for our new build by listening to our needs and wants and working to find the right product within our budget. He also was super flexible with scheduling and re-scheduling the installers, (our project had been pushed back a couple of weeks due to other contractor delays). Luke came out to our house (a TWO hour drive from sioux Falls) to measure. We love our new flooring, the competitive pricing, and the excellent sales and service. Thank you!!

Thornton Flooring did an awesome job at my house. Chris helped me find the carpet I wanted and gave me an awesome bid. He worked with me to find the dates that would work with my schedule for installation. When they came out to install the carpet the installers gave me tips on moving the furniture I needed to move for the second day that made a huge difference on my workload. My husband & I had excellent service from Thornton Flooring from the first visit through the installation. We received assistance within a minute of arriving at the store, were shown to the areas of our interest and helped but not hovered over, which we appreciated. Although we are nearly 70 , we were treated with respect and our questions & concerns were handled accordingly. Heartily recommend this company for new floors!
