Now, I don't know how all the locations operate around the State of Florida, but in my opinion, if you are considering the Lakeland Branch...RUN, RUN, RUN.... while you can. I made a special trip down to the center to ensure that it was clear that no glue was to be used on the install of my vinyl. We purchased carpet at the end of November for 3 bedrooms. It was going to be installed the first week in December. The morning of the installation, I received a call saying the back of the carpet was damaged and had to be reordered. Second time it was going to be done I get a call saying that one of the installers was quarantined, but the other could come. The installation crew and what they were going to do was ridiculous! I love the vinyl plank but they were going to leave a small rounded molding on the floor and put a quarter round in front of it, looked stupid! Then they didn't put the plank all the way to the wall to there was a gap when we did finally take the old molding off? I repaired the wall! The worst experience I have with one of the sales agent name Judy. After i paid deposit which is half of the price she told me the person she going to sed is busy with other project and i have to wait 5 weeks After waiting 5 weeks the flooding guy told me she masher the floor wrong have we don't jave enough Vinyl to finish so, we will be back after 5 weeks a gain Anyway the project takes over 3 month. Contractor showed up and said he couldn't do the job on the date promised by the salesperson. This was Christmas week and I already had prepped my home; so I left everything packed and prepared for their return 3 days later. When they showed up again. they said it would take 3 days when originally told 2 days. They left wood flooring toxic GLUE all over my upstairs and then walked off the job complaining about Bob's Carpet and Flooring ... the onwer threw down his measuring tape and they left my home. If I could have rated it a ZERO, I would have. They were very efficient on scheduling an estimate and taking my deposit. From that point on it went completely downhill. The day they were scheduled to install the carpet they never showed and did not even give me a courtesy phone call to notify me they weren't coming!!! I had to call them to find out were they were and re-schedule. Items were stolen from my apartment. The worker bled on my floor and did not clean it up. They did not cover my food from the dust. They went into my cabinets and helped themselves to glasses. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend or use again.
We ordered tile for our master bathroom and we assured that there was enough tile in the warehouse and that we would have it in 3 to 5 days. We called the store a week later and were told that there was not enough usable tile for our order. With our installation being less than a week away that left us in a bind to order new tile elsewhere. They should have called us when they knew they could not deliver instead of leaving us hanging. To say ithas been bad is an understatement. I was led to believe the product i wanted was in stock at the store i was making the purchase. After paying $1000, was told it was at the warehouse that closed at 1. It was 2. He said i could pick it up minday (today). I waited until 10 to call to be told byJoe the store manager who sold us the vinyl plank flooring that it was unavailable at the warehouse and he would pick it up Wednesday in Ocala.
