Mount Miguel is a wonderful place. My Mother stayed in the Skilled Nursing Facility for about a month after recovering from knee surgery and a double fracture. The staff was so amazing here. They are all really caring people, everyone from the CNAs to the RNs to the PTs and OTs, the cleaning staff and the cooks. The food is great btw. The grounds are just beautiful. This is where my grandparents retired, and it's a GREAT place. The grounds are beautiful; it's positioned right at the edge of the Sweetwater reservoir, so has some beautiful views of the reservoir and the mountains behind it. There are lots of birds in the area as well. The landscaping is very well maintained, with lots of grassy areas, trees, and flower beds.
