We worked with the Williamsville location to have new carpets installed throughout our house in August 2016. The salesperson sold us on a “stain proof” carpet and the “top of the line pad.” He assured us the pad would last longer than the carpet itself, so we justified the extra cost. The installation was okay - no scheduling issues and the crew was friendly. They left quite the mess when they left our house.. plastic strings and carpet fibers everywhere. I really didn’t want to post this but under the circumstances I’m going to . About 5 months ago I went to look at carpeting at the Sheridan location dealt with a guy named Scott . After going home and realizing we had hardwood under the carpets we decided to pull the carpets and use the hardwood . Last week I went in to purchase a stair runner .3 days later Scott came and measured the stairs he was there for about 5 min . Spent almost $3000 on flooring in April (2018) and was dicked around by Store Mgr. Jean, Salesman Scott, Secretary (unknown name) and Installer Mark- for almost a month, for a repair to a laminate floor installed only 6mo. ago. I understand that other matters may take precedence ie. bigger jobs, new installs, etc... and Im not a complainer. But running around for (4) with people pointing the finger at one another is totally unacceptable, There are many other flooring companies out there competing for your business. I have always used Kenny carpet and been happy until this last time when I was sold a defective rug. I notified them in June. I assumed they would make good in it bc I have always been a loyal customer. First they had me send pictures, then every month they sent a different inspection company out to confirm that the carpet was defective, all 3 inspectors agreed it was. The last one even cut a chunk out of my rug to prove it. Here it is half way through September and still no one has made good on my carpet. Guess I am waiting... read more
We dealt with Scott@Amherst location. Carpeting was supposed to get installed end of May but there was a truck issue THEN hey came to install another 2wks later and it was 100sqft short WTH. now they are installing and it’s short AGAIN. My husband called Scott and “ I don’t have time for you, I’m on my lunch” and hung up WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!
We had a difficult time dealing with the store. When I was ready to place the order the sales associate called me back and said hes been too busy.. too busy to take my order I guess. I was told the order would take 2 weeks and after 6 weeks the carpeting finally came in.. had a difficult time getting it installed each time we had an installation date it was cancelled for some reason or another so the third time it was going to be canceled , I told him three strikes they're out I hired my own installers ..the quote from Kenny... read more
We dealt with the West Seneca location on Transit. Salesman Gary was very nice, installers Bruce & Joe were great, Peter (who is a manager but also goes out and does measurements) was an asshole and put a very sour taste in our mouths for ever recommending this place. After the carpets were installed and the guys left, I walked around both bedrooms just to double check and noticed about a 2 foot section of carpet that was not stretched and nailed in, it was just resting there. Was having carpet installed the worker was in the other room and refered to me as a "moon cricket" extremely unprofessional don't waste your money here !
This company has terrible customer service, i recommend somewhere else
