We had a bad experience with National Floors Direct. The salesman came out and we signed the contract based on the material, timeline and number of installers. We were told 2 days and 2 installers. (600 feet of work) We got one installer that couldn't speak english and the timeline went to 3 days. Then we were told that the laminate flooring couldn't be pulled up, which was in the contract. In order to pull it up, it would take several more days. The installer came in unprepared which I blame NFD for. The salesman said he'd ... read more

I purchased luxury flooring for 3 rooms, and it was installed on August 20, 2021. The "luxury" plank flooring has already cracked in multiple places, and I have to have it replaced by a reputable contractor. When I contacted National Floors Direct, the person in customer service was very condescending with me, and basically told me I was on my own, and that the company cannot offer any solutions to my problem. To make matters worse, when you purchase the "luxury" vinyl plank flooring, you are required to purchase an overage ... read more

National floors has a very good sales pitch but there customer service is very lacking. They change their criteria depending on the situation. According to the phone call I just had with them closets in bedrooms are included in most cases, but not in my case. In my case the closets in the bedrooms were separate therefore the two closets that were mentioned in the contract were the two bedroom closets and the one in the hallway and the one off the dining area were not included. The customer service lady tells me there is no c... read more

Signed a contract for a laminate wood floor to be installed. The sales rep never looked to see if there were any potential problems that would be an issue with installtion. Since that time we uncovered a problem with water rot around the sliding glass door and adjoining wall where this floor would be against.I asked for someone to come out to see if it would be a problem installing the floor. I know the water damage needs to be addressed but dont want a new floor being installed only to be torn up to fix the door and wall.Na... read more

My son used National Floors Direct to re floor his hold house after he had just purchased it their service was horrible, the company staff was the worst staff that I had ever had to deal with, and top that off National Floors Direct did not apply with the laws in the ***********, it is required that you pay 1/3 at signing, 1/3 when that starting the installation and the rest when they are finished, I do know for a fact that is not what they did with us, they required us to pay all up front, I have dealt with plenty of compan... read more

A sales rep came to my ** home on 3/16/23 for an initial estimate for plank floors to replace my wall-to-wall carpeting. He spent 5 hours with me to secure a "no commitment" contract with the company's "price match guarantee" in which "they will beat any price a customer finds after signing the contract". It was not disclosed to customers that National Floors Direct partners with flooring companies to manufacture their own exclusive products. Thus, a customer will NEVER find the same exact product elsewhere to dispute their ... read more

Under no circumstances should anyone do business with National Floors Direct (NFD), NFD's business model is to provide optimum customer service upfront to win your trust, they have savvy representatives and business practices, after you sign the contract, sign waiver that you will not cancel service, put down a deposit, and you must pay the balance prior to installation. Otherwise, the installers will not start job, deposit is gone, and you are still liable for balance without flooring, so you have to make a decision on the ... read more

First of all I got quotes from three other people everybody was close they were within $100 so the salesman came to my house nice guy Id like the product he wanted a $2400 deposit. I gave them $3000. The total job was $8400, when the installer came, he found the problem he called up and some woman called me and said we need another $2800 I cant afford another $2800. None of the other two asked for another dime I asked for my $3000 deposit back, they said no way , I am 75 years old. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I wan... read more
