The worst company ever to deal with the sales person comes to your house promises you all kinds of things when you sign and give them a deposit when they come to install its nothing like that when you try to get a resolution for your problem nobody wants to know you anymore it is horrible beware
During the in-home visit, we started with a quote for an entire first floor for a Mohawk laminate at 20k, then priced down to 17k. At that time, I came to the conclusion of working within a smaller space budget wise The price for approximately 500 sq ft was first quoted at 9k, then in order to provide so-called sticker price relief I was provided a new quote of approximately $4,900. I received a quote and was told I can cancel my order within 3 days. I called the next day to do so and was expecting a refund. Still within the three-day timeline I had to call to ask for my refund and was FINALLY told on the third day I needed to MAIL paperwork in. I did. I am still waiting for my $710 deposit back. This business is a scam, they advertise a product on TV and do the switch and bate when they come to install. I ordered vinyl floor and they came with the cheap snap and lock floor they pick up at ********** or another store. In addition they did not measure the floor correctly and now want to charge an additional fees. The sales person came to my home and spend over 5 hours. The sales rep was not clear about the product to be installed. The customer service rep was rude and completely unhelpful.The star rating is for the installers alone, who were helpful and professional.
Had the salesman come out on a Wed, had picked a color carpet that wouldn't be in for 2 weeks so I went with a similar one that he claimed was "in stock" and could be installed Fri. The next day,I get several calls that they couldn't install on Fri bc the carpet wasn't "in stock" at the warehouse that they were delivering out of,even though the salesman insured me it was "in stock". Had a horrible experience with National floor direct from start to finish. I would not recommend using this company at all. On the day of my insulation installers removed all of my carpet and told me that my floor was in horrible condition underneath & the subfloor would have to be removed. They told me they could do it on the side for $3000 which is instantly a red flag I asked NFD repeatedly to have a second opinion from them to come out and they refused. WARNING: The elderly and disabled are urged NOT to use National Floors Direct. Here's why...We are a couple in our 60s and I have a bad back, so moving heavy furniture is beyond us. We decided to go with NFD after their sales rep assured us that the quote he gave us for two rooms of carpet ********* included moving the larger pieces of furniture (i.e., beds, recliners, bookcases, desks). After seeing NFD commercial regarding installing vinyl flooring, I decided to give them a call for a free in-home estimate. I made the appointment for July 17th however; over the weekend I realized the time was in conflict with another commitment. NFD is not open on the weekend, so I called first thing on July 17th to reschedule.
