Terrible company full of lies and extortion. They sold me floors only to show up and demand more money immediately in cash or money order to complete the job. Alternatively they were going to run away with my deposit. Worst experience ever.

Ordered flooring. Cancelled within permitted "cancellation period". Emails unresponded to, no refund after nearly 5 weeks. Order # ME10001 . After seeing reviews and BBB complaints, realizing now that I should have done business with a competitor. Still waiting for refund. Sent another letter moments ago.

My parents who are in their late 70's had a floor put in by National Floors Direct 6 months ago . They had a salesman come into their home give them a price and after they agreed the install team came a few days later. After tearing up 1/2 the carpets in the house the installers told them that they would have to pay an additional $250 to have the railings removed so they could put the flooring under them or they were told to leave the housethe way it was if my parents didnt pay by their boss. Tried to install white crown molding not the same color as floor tried to say I ordered it then wants to charge me $400. for the molding that matches floor. Took my money then did not complete work and refuses to return the next morning Customer service taunts and tones are just unfair when the mistakes are the business and not the customer

My father had National Floors Direct come out to his house to get an estimate on redoing the kitchen floor, 3 bedrooms, a hallway, two staircases, the front hall, living room and dining room. The sales rep came and she was very nice (of course she had to be to push the sale) she approved the colors and wrote them down. She even played we'll give you a veterans / first responders discount, we take good care of our veterans, if you have any issues call me..... The installers were great but what a complete nightmare it was dealing with any manager, sales person, or customer service representative from this company. To start, I placed an order for carpet and kitchen flooring. I was aggressively sold to and told to place an immediate deposit of $1,000. After the "3 day cancellation period" I was told the deposit check bounced. (This was impossible.) High pressure sales, once in your house will not leave without a contract. They play on the good nature of people, not wanting to yell at the salesman. We had to say yes, to make him leave, and then realized it is next to impossible to cancel. They cashed our check after we immediately called and cancelled the order, and again they turned to their high pressure sales. This is a dishonest company, that likely calls there customers suckers in business meetings. They give you unreasonable method of mailing or sending a telegram... read more

I ordered carpet for two rec room. One room had a runner for three stairs. Day of delivery the runner was not there but they wanted to be paid in full before they start the installation. I paid and they ordered the runner. The company assured me that the runner would arrive within two weeks and then they would schedule an installation.
