I contacted National Floors Direct to get a quote for hardwood flooring for my small home office. They came by in a short time frame, but the sales person, Joe F*******, indicated that I had particle board under my rug that needed to be removed, along with a sub-floor installed. The quote came in very high but they reluctantly agreed to take 15% off to compete with others, but then added $700 back into the quote for the particle board removal and sub-floor addition. Where do I start. This company is a joke i wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. First of all we had a sales rep name Carmilio he was up front and genuinely he was working with me and elderly mom on the price and wood i really wanted for a good price. They didn’t do the job in one day as promised costing me moving resources. They tried to install floor molding that didn’t match in size, shape or color. The customer service mgr had me take a picture and send it to him (his name was Chris) for review and he never called me back. I tried calling and texting him with no return contact from him. How does BBB give this an A+????? Every comment on here is negative. If I could give a minus star, I would. Same as everyone else....they give a four hour window and show up when they want. Installer shows up BY HIMSELF. Says he needs $200 in cash to pay for the glue NFD "forgot" to tell him about. My son is 19 and moving into a home with friends, this is his project. They install wrong color carpet in 2 of 4 rooms and wouldn’t correct
We ordered a carpet install and were given an installation date with the understanding that they would call the morning of and tell us our expected window. They confirmed 12:00-4:00 on 7/30/19.... I got a call at 11:30 am saying they had to cancel. I had already been waiting and took the day off, but when I called and spoke to the manager, Tom, he was less than empathic, rather saying someone broke a leg and there was nothing they could do about it. Salesman gave wrong information. When tried to verify was delayed for days which led to being beyond the cancellation date. Second salesman 'manager' was supposed to come to our house to resolve. He didn't show. Had to have a lawyer involved to get our deposit back. 1 star is too many. Horrible experience.
I had requested carpeting for my parent's apartment. My father is disabled with Parkinson's disease. The day when the carpet installers were to come, one of them called me first. He asked if I had moved the furniture. I replied highly confused that I thought you were supposed to move the furniture. I had taken out the drawers and stripped the bedding from the bed as instructed. If I could give this place a zero I would. They came to my home to install my floors they didn’t call as they claim they would then they told me they only way they would complete my job after the installers where in the middle was if I said I didn’t want the warranty. The customer service was rude. They wanted me to pay them 1200 dollars over the quote because the told me the had to level my floor.
