If I could pick 0 stars I would. What started out as a good experience with Rite Rug has just gotten uglier and uglier. Our sales rep Jim was great. Very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. That's where it ends. We had over 3,000 sq feet of carpet installed for around $14k. We felt great about the quality of the carpet that we chose, and felt lucky to be able to have it installed in our new house before we moved in -- so we didn't have to worry about paying to move furniture around. First warning. No one comes out after... read more
I am concerned how this company has an A+ rating with the BBB. We moved into our house at the end of 2014 (new build) and had rite rug out to the house within 18 months. The carpets are pulling up and wearing horrible (and we paid for the upgraded padding). When the guy came out to inspect he told us this is how carpets work and you shouldn't expect more than 5 years because of the glue. He told me it was past the 1 year warranty so he couldn't try to stretch it to fix the 'rumples'. Honestly he couldn't get out of the house... read more
We purchased a home through ********* and upgraded to high traffic carpet and heavy-duty pad. After 3m the carpet was wearing horribly, and you could just look down and see the seams everywhere. We put it on our 6m warranty and Rite Rug sent two Spanish speaking gentleman that couldn't speak to my wife and they didn't do anything. I waited until our 1yr warranty, and asked that someone come take a look and talk to my wife and I about the issues. A man came to the house and told us there is no such thing as an invisible seam ... read more
Not recommended – It took 4 different occasions (Sept 29th thru Oct 20th) for them to come out and complete my luxury vinyl flooring that should have taken 1 day. Each time there was never enough material brought and extra time anyway from the job was taken to obtain the materials that was previously measured out. Some of the issues that occurred are the following: • The wrong transition pieces were glued and nailed down which led to cracking • There was a gap in the flooring where you could see down to the concrete • Quarte... read more
My townhouse in ONLY two years old and the carpet is completely warp, waved, ruffled (whatever you want to call it). It looks awful throughout and I'm embarrassed to have company. Rite Flooring will only confirm that I am out of warranty. A carpet specialist won't touch the job (to stretch) because it's so extensive. I must live with the embarrassment until I can afford to replace. Rite Rug Flooring offers terrible craftsmanship and poor customer service.
RiteRug Flooring, you are by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. We did the first walk through of our brand new house that we built on June 22nd. At that point, we realized that you did not install the accent tile in our shower. We came back on June 29th for our 2nd walk through, the day before we closed, and to our dismay you had installed the accent tile but it was the incorrect one. Multiple phone calls and several no show appointments later, you finally had someone show up hours late on July 13th to start... read more
In 2014 we bought a house and had whole house carpet installed. $5800. About 6 months into it I started to notice hard lumps that make a weird noise when you step on them. About 1 year into it I started to notice the carpet was wearing really bad. The whole time we had the carpet it has always shed I find carpet threads all over the house. In January 2017 I noticed my baby had blood all over her feet and I had no clue why. A couple days later it happened again and I noticed it was from the carpet. I then started to notice th... read more
I had laminate hardwood flooring installed in my rental house about a year ago, My tenant calls me and says that the trim pieces has broken off, I went over to investigate and it looked like the molding had been modified to make it fit. I called customer care and sent some pictures over, in a few days I received a call saying they would replace the trim with the correct trim. Very please with the away this was handled and the lady I worked with, Tammela, was amazing. you could tell she really cared about getting my issue res... read more
We were putting our house up for sale and wanted to replace the carpet and put down vinyl planking in our master bathroom. We scheduled the bathroom flooring first. During the tear up process of the existing flooring the installers broke the water line behind the toilet causing water to shoot out for five minutes before the main water line was turned off. The water went into the adjoining upstairs bathroom. The master bath was on the 2nd floor, luckily above the garage where the water ruined the finished garage. Called custo... read more
