Rude and unprofessional, will shop elsewhere
My wife was in their service department for a miss, and hard stating in her car a 2015 with 41,000 miles on it and they charge her $344.60 for a used battery. They said that factory battery has no warranty with it and that the new battery only has a two year warranty. I am done with this place I have bought eight Kia’s is in the past 20 years and have never been cheated like this.
After my first visit to the Alcoa shop, I am very disappointed in the service department. Did not give me full information about why my check engine light was on. Recommended only regular service (oil change and tune up) so I paid $500 for that. Next day the check engine light was on. Took it back in. Now it's timing chain and more for a cool $3815! My wife and I were looking to purchase a minivan for our family. Our goal was to trade in our Nissan Patherfinder and lower our payment so my wife could stay home with our daughter. The trade value was excellent, the customer service was excellent, and the hospitality towards us was great. We quoted a number on our monthly payment and worked to get to that number. Waste of my time. I was upfront about my situation, I was told absolutely we can help you out. I get in the dealership and nope. I would prefer to be told we can't help you before you waste my time.
Your service center sucks!!! I've had 3 different visits at this particular dealership. Every single visit it's always a headache.
I gave one star because zero is not an option. The worst buying experience of my life. I wrote a 7 page letter to Kia corporate to express my complaints. Not just rude and nasty but, frankly, dishonest, and probably criminally so. Obviously, all car salesmen are a little suspect, but these guys have set the standard for the new low. While I was there (6 hours of hell) not one, but 2 different women left the dealership in tears. I asked the salesman what was going on. He said, "Business as usual." WORST dealership ever!!! Car they tried to sell me had the catalytic converter go out on it literally on the way home from dealership. Obviously I brought the car back next day only to have Clay the sales mgr call me yelling at me & threatening legal action if I didn't buy the car! I will NEVER do business's with them. Single moms beware!! Pushy & unethical place.
