3 Weeks ago I contacted 50 Floor because I am not happy with the carpet installed only 3 months ago. I received an acknowledgement almost immediately... but no one called. Earlier this week, I contacted them again. I received an email stating I had to have the carpet professionally cleaned and send the receipt before the manufacturer would consider a claim. I would never use 50 Floor again. The installers did not drop any cloth over my carpets, trashing 2 large area rugs and did not even attempt to clean up/ having only a broom. They left dirty prints all over my kitchen walls and baseboards.A closet door in my bathroom will not close without making scratches on the floor since they installed the new flooring.I spent almost 2 hours cleaning after they left and the manager over scheduling installers was less then concerned about this unprofessional behavior.

The representative refused to show me any carpet samples. He even tried to quote a price over the phone without ever visiting my home. His price was too high. I have a fixer up home. He mentioned to his supervisors areas I needed to repair, but I had already told him that I was working to repair those areas. He refused to help me repair some laminate issues or at least recommend someone who could. <div class="ctc-tooltip"></div>

For the start of this nightmare I had the 50 flooring salesman come over on 7/25/22 to give me an estimate for one room I wished to have laminate installed. *********************** arrived and showed me the colors and assured me they have the best products and the thickness was exactly the same on the products installed as the sample pieces shown in the book. Our floor is falling apart and now has become a trip hazard all over.There was poor workmanship on the floor install because there was no sub floor installed. The floor has warped and the tile layers of the *** Plank are peeling creating a trip hazard. There are also trip hazards on the carpet as the floor sinks the carpet (previously stretched) it creates a buildup in the pile to trip over and extra wear occurred on both the carpet and the underlayment after one year. I give them two stars because the flooring itself and installation is great. I would give them ZERO for customer service. We had our entire house done. We were lied to about having to pay a plumber to reinstall our toilets, so there was another $1500 out of pocket. Our sales rep ******** told us he would be our point of contact the entire process but wanted nothing to do with us after the sale. My experience has been anything but good. At first I was impressed but as time goes on not so much. First you need to know the flooring was for a rental property of ours. The prior tenants were evicted and they did leave a mess. All the floors were carpeted and horribly stained. This wasnt hidden, couldnt be, when the salesman came to call. I picked out the floors, paid for the carpet to be removed and hauled away. We had *********** 50 Floor remove the old wood floors in our living room in late February. We weren't happy with the sub-floor that we got which was a layer of 1/4" particle board over existing 1/2" plywood instead of the 3/4" plywood we were quoted (installers: ****** Flooring}, but we let them talk us into accepting that. The installation ended by the front door. They then saw that our solid wood door was dragging the floor out toward the end.
