Wish i could leave zero stars!!! Roughly four years ago my mother and I hired this company to install tile all through out my grandmothers home. Seeing as she was an elderly woman who could not walk much she was unaware of the lets go with the word laughable installation job they did. I guess they figured "shes an old deaf woman who can't walk much lets do a crappy install and use a quarter of the thinset we should use cause she will never notice and cut cost." Purchased tile at Dolphin for small job 220sf .. The salesman was less then enthusiastic it seems about the order. Had to go somewhere else to pick up. The salesman gave me the wrong square footage per box causing me to purchase three more boxes than necessary. When the job was completed I made several trips to try to return the three boxes. I was given a stall job then told there would be a 35% restocking fee. When I grudgingly agreed I was told I would get a call on Monday.. No call.. so I called and was given run around..... read more

I would never do this but started out very well and has turned to where I wish to have the entire job pulled out. Was a convenient place to do one stop shopping even if paid a bit more. Originally they took care of all. Permits, delivery, ordering the sound proofing and was easy to have one contractor on record for the building I live in for insurance and names etc. Started out great. Removal and laying of sound proofing and even to the install initially was fine. But then during the middle of my install one goes no vacation... read more

My experience at Dolphin Carpet and Tile exceeded my expectations. The customer service, product quality, installation, and follow up to ensure that I was completely satisfied, is the true meaning of going the extra mile. Prior to my experience with Dolphin, I spent $5000 on a carpet from a major home improvement store. It was an experience I later regretted, and have no intentions of suggesting them to anybody. We contracted Dolphin Carpet & Tile to replace the carpets in our bedroom with a laminate flooring. Their crew worked all day on the job and even worked overtime so as not to bother us for a second day. We are quite satisfied with the job they did and the outcome and we would probably hire them to do a similar job in the future if required.

we purchased carpet for the master bedroom. Salesman was courteous, knowledgeable and assured us that the installation process would go well. The two-man installation team managed to figure out how to move a queenside bed with a headboard and an 8-drawer dresser and got the job done in the time promised. A tip of the hat to DC&T

I would not recommend this company. I'm a widow and the tile installer did not even move my furniture back into place after the job was finished. He ripped my cable box while installing baseboards and I can't even get the company to reimburse me for this repair. I will never use Dolphin Carpet & Tile again.
