Ozanam Hall was opened in 1971 and we have been providing care ever since. Located in Bayside, Queens, New York we are a 432 bed facility, which is administered by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. The fabric of the Carmelite Mission is woven throughout the facility which is bound together by the strength and guidance of Mother Angeline. The home is named for Frederic Ozanam, a 17th century lawyer and philosopher known for his charitable works such as the founding of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Ozanam Hall ... read more

My grandfather was a patient at Ozanam Hall for about a year. He suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a past stroke as well as cancer. Although it was not his ideal decision to go to a rehab/nursing home facility it was probably one of the best choices we made. My grandpa was on the 10th floor being taken care of by Margaret, Maureen, Jean and countless other works who genuinely cared for my grandfather. Although he has now passed I just want to thank every worker on the 10th floor as well as Sister Phillips and the Social Wo... read more
Please beware of this facility, if your loved one has any type of a medical health issue, please know this is not the place for them they're PT services are acceptable but Honestly, I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.
Big disappointment never want to send anyone there. years ago it was a good place no more the more people I talk to say the same thing
Terrible customer service. Trying to reach someone in the billing department and the Calls always go to voicemail. Of course calls are not returned.
My grandfather was recently a patient here on the 10th floor and we are so appreciative of the wonderful nurses and staff that took such amazing care of my grandfather! Thank you so much to Judy and Margaret, we are so grateful!
This Rehab facility is totally unacceptable. Very depressing. They do not usually respond to call buttons. Patients are left in soiled underwear for long periods of time. This facility is around because of Medicare.
I've been a nurses aide for many years and never did I think I'd need to be a patient in a nursing facility. Not knowing what to expect I chose Ozanam Hall and boy did I make a great decision. Upon entering I was greeted with dignity and respect, the facility was clean the nursing staff were pleasant and responsive. I'm a younger pt then most in a skilled nursing facility, I'm alert and oriented with no cognitive impairments , I entered Ozanam after a 1 month hospital where I was bedbound and unable to move or care for mysel... read more
Awful Place! NEGLECT and INCOMPETENCE best describes it. They don't care. DO NOT send your loved ones there, they will not be taken care of properly. They don't return calls, there's no phone in the room to reach your loved one, the food is disgusting. My uncle suffered and unfortunately I don't think we got him out of that hell hole in time. They lie and doctors don't return calls. They're billing the insurance company and it should be considered FRAUD since they don't provide or do what they claim or what they are supposed... read more
My father was brought to the facility on Wednesday 11-24-2021 where he was placed in a room on the 4th floor which is the transitional or observation floor for new admissions He was in a room with a tv with no remote, the 700 club playing continuously. No access to a phone, we were told oh he can have the nurses station take a call for him Meanwhile you call the nurses station and continuous no answer of the phone as we were advised the facility is short staffed and Covid issues in the facility We then came to visit him on F... read more
