Awful Place! NEGLECT and INCOMPETENCE best describes it. They don't care. DO NOT send your loved ones there, they will not be taken care of properly. They don't return calls, there's no phone in the room to reach your loved one, the food is disgusting. My uncle suffered and unfortunately I don't think we got him out of that hell hole in time. They lie and doctors don't return calls. They're billing the insurance company and it should be considered FRAUD since they don't provide or do what they claim or what they are supposed... read more
My father was brought to the facility on Wednesday 11-24-2021 where he was placed in a room on the 4th floor which is the transitional or observation floor for new admissions He was in a room with a tv with no remote, the 700 club playing continuously. No access to a phone, we were told oh he can have the nurses station take a call for him Meanwhile you call the nurses station and continuous no answer of the phone as we were advised the facility is short staffed and Covid issues in the facility We then came to visit him on F... read more
One word to describe Ozanam Hall? Inconsistent. The nursing and aide staff often take up to two hours to respond once you press the page button next to your bed. The meals that they serve come to you lukewarm, including the coffee and tea, which is unacceptable. Some of the nurses have a tendency to be sarcastic, which is also unacceptable. The level of care and concern for the patients is lacking. Overall Ozanam Hall is not a good place to stay wether you are there for rehab or a place to be for the remainder of your life.
My mother was a resident at Ozanam for 5 years. She fell at home and, despite hospitalization and therapy, was never able to stand or walk again. It was a sudden and difficult change in her life at the age of 88 to have to move into a nursing home. The staff at Ozanam were so warm and welcoming to her and the sister who was the administrator at the time came out to greet her at the entry door on the day she arrived. During her five years there she received excellent care from the 8th floor staff. The nurses were always on to... read more
Horrible facility after COVID! Not enough staff.... treat the residents who pay thousands a month not well! They dont even make sure they eat, and what they feed dementia patients is ridiculous... Rooms dirty and not cleaned. Do not put your loved one there! After two and a half years i had to remove my Nana for horrible treatment and lack of care! Had to put 1 star to post!! NO STAR RATING!
This place is horrible my mom almost died here she's diabetic and the cna tortured her she wouldn't give her water. Said dr restricted it. He never did also he never saw her. Now they're lying and covering up also they wouldn't let me see her. My mother went into diabetic ketosis she did not receive diet she needed. When she got to the ER the doctor said she was extremely dehydrated she was only there four days. Please do not put your family member here they will suffer it's horrible nurses hang up on you and don't even wanna... read more
Just had my mother there for 3 weeks on her 2nd stay. Outstanding care. Attentive staff. Very caring group of professional staff. Was extremely pleased with their follow up. I highly recommend this facility.
I am very upset and disappointed in the service that this nursing home provided to my grandmother. The front desk was extremely rude as well. My grandmother was a permanent patient within this nursing home. During the year that she was there she became skin and bones and her fungus in her mouth from the lack of times that helped her to brush her teeth. Due to the pandemic, my family and I were not able to see her since a March. The nurses would FaceTime us for a few minutes once a week and every time we seen her she looked w... read more
This Nursing home is a disgrace, the neglect is unreal. My grandmother just recently passed away after being there for a year, during the pandemic my family wasn't able to visit her and were only able to face time her for 10 minutes once a week, after seeing my grandmother in the condition she was in at the emergency room two weeks ago from the last time i visited her in February was shocking, she was literally skin and bones she looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks and she had ulcers in her mouth and yeast infection in h... read more
