Working with a great Salesman was not a problem. Josh was patient and kind as I made my decision about a special order sofa and chair. The problems came when the delivery showed up six weeks later. The sofa came with a broken frame. The chair with some crooked stitching. I was fine with the chair, but the sofa was a problem. RC Willey Claims Department refuses to put the customer first and takes the word of their technicians who are rushed and over worked and potentially could be afraid of losing their job; over the word of their customers. I bought several items at RC Willey since 2008 simply because it was close, large and nothing else was around at the time. Every single item large and small has been terribly made and seems old after having it for a couple months. I will make a list below of all I can remember. 1. With the circumstance of COVID-19 opted to select a dishwasher on-line & order by phone. Sales person Pearson was knowledgeable & assisted with the detail that his son would be doing the install. Apparently a 'contractor' for the purpose since the name of the business was different. On 08/12 we called the installer directly (# was given to us by salesman). I purchased a RAF sectional with chaise on 6/4/2020 which was out of stock with a promise date towards the end of June. On June 30th I called RC willey delta shores to check on my order and they said it was back ordered and will be in stock two weeks into July. Failed to meet their promise twice! I purchased a dining room set and from the beginning the sales rep could care less. I noticed a difference in her service compared to the others. Besides from inventory being extremely low, the salesman was very helpful. When I went to the cashier to pay, there was one window open. There was 16 windows, all with a closed signs and I counted six people back in the cashiers area. I watched my salesman leave to go home as I waited for over 20 minutes. I was the second person in line. I felt sorry for the 10 people behind me in line they had to wait for however long it was going to take them to purchase their item and get out of there. We have been longtime customers w/ RC Willey, and had a charge account with them for several years. In the past couple of months we had multiple billing errors, resulting in charges to both our charge account and personal checking account that were not authorized by us. We ended up cancelling our charge account, and will be hesitant about shopping there in the future due to their lack of security of their customer's financial accounts.
