Our experience with 50 Floor began on Oct. 20 when a rep came by and showed samples of laminate flooring. We chose what we wanted he wrote up the order and said we would be contacted when it came in. On November 16th my wife called asking about and was told it just came in, we set November 20 & 21 for installation. On the 20th a two man crew came for installation. The problems started with the salesman...NO pressure, Not true. He wasnt leaving until we signed. Kept lowering the already highly inflated price. NO Installation fee- Blatant LIE. Installer came in with an attitude and didnt want to do bathroom. So the job has never really been completed. Have to hire someone else to finish. Installer came back 3 times to place transition strips and first time came without strips, then came back a couple of hours later with wrong color. 50 Floor replaced my two bathroom floors, kitchen floor with ceramic tile. They took up the wall-to-wall carpeting and put in new wood floors in my living room and dinning room areas. They also put new wood on the steps and wood in the upstairs hallway. I was generally pleased with what I saw. Upon completion of the work I noticed that an area near the top of the stairs was poorly done so I called the salesman. It's been (2) years since I had my laminate installed. But the issues didn't just start. First, I was asked to review the service on the day of sale before any work started. Was told I could only get credit for the coupon if I filled out the review first and to base it on my review of the sale but all the questions pertained to the product. 50 Floors took us a for ride as they have commercials in Nashville saying the job takes 1 day and that they move all the furniture which is all FALSE!!!!!! We signed a contract in March and did not get our carpet until June 17th. They gave us the run around when we called and spoke to the customer service manager, we even spoke to the GM and he could care less what we were going through. Every time we see the commercials on channel 4, and 5 we want to throw something at the TV, its all false and they seem to get away with it... read more
I had carpets installed in 3 bedrooms and living room in Jan 2017 and hardwoods refinished and stained in April 2017. My initial quote included a charge for new padding in all the rooms; however at time of installation the contractor felt my existing padding was of better quality than the new padding and suggested I keep the current padding (likely to also hasten installation). I had 50 Floor come in to give me an estimate on installing hardwood in a bedroom. After he scratched out an estimate, he told me that I could go ahead and give him a deposit. A Deposit? I told him that I wanted to get a few estimates then make my decision. He told me that he doesn't get paid for mileage and if he needed to come back out a second time, that was more money out of his pocket. I couldn't get him out of my house fast enough....

DO NOT USE 50 FLOOR! Their sales tactics are deceiving and their customer service is awful. The first subcontractor to come out, had no idea about that job, had to barrow tools from us, and took notes on a piece of flooring he ripped up from our home. They also had to reschedule the install date and cause loss of work. The warranty is only through the manufacture, not 50 Floor, as stated in the sales pitch. They ONLY use subcontractors. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
