We had salesperson arrive and we reviewed and selected the flooring we wanted. We had carpet in the house over parkay flooring. Salesperson said it would not be any problem to install new laminate floor over the parkay once old carpet was removed. We explained to him several times that the parkay was original to the house built in 1965 and was not in very good shape. Again he said it wouldn't be a problem. 50 Floors customer service pretends to want to help, they are soooo nice to you and making you feel they are there to help to just come back and tell you exactly what the owners we dealt with at the carpet dealership said which were flat out deceit. They over charged us to begin with when I told my friend what I was charged they said I got totally ripped off. Complaint against 50 Floor Probably one of the worst experiences ever with a flooring company, and I am sorry we did not read the reviews beforehand as the complaints are similar to ours but the amount of negative reviews posted it is a wonder that this company is actually still in business!! what a difference 6 years make. In 2016 we had 50 floor carpet our upstairs $20,000+....incredible job!!! 6 years later we called them in April 2020 to put down laminate in one room on the main level that had been carpeted. Our current flooring, Shaw Cinnamon Oak, was no longer available so the salesman, Eric ********* suggested two others....we checked grain and color and chose one. My floors were installed a year ago. They are chipping and supposed to be life proof. When I called for warranty they said they're not covered. I was told they would not chip and they are. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service and the product. I spent $13k on flooring that is trash. I'm a local real estate Broker and will ensure my customers and friends avoid this company.

Just wanted to share my overall experience with 50 Floor. I hope when the time comes for you to drive into the process or replacing flooring and carpets that it's a better experience than me and my wife's had. The installation process was a NIGHTMARE. Fortunately on the positive side of that they made it right. It took what I would consider a excessive amount of time for it to happen, but it was attempted to be made right eventually. If I could give this a negative 5 star I would. They are in the business of saying one thing and doing another. ADVICE: READ THOROUGHLY THOUGH YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE AGREE TO ANY WORK. THESE PEOPLE ARE PROFESSIONAL SCAMMERS! Take that statement as you will but please, do your research with them. A total disaster. Am now in the 7th day of a 3 day install with no end in site. My home in torn up and no one comes when I am told they will be here. Very frustrated.
