50 floor installed hardwood on my steps and hallway three months ago. The project isn't even paid for yet and 5 pieces are already cracked! This is simply poor quality/poor workmanship

We chose 50 Floor for this installation since they installed the existing hardwood floors in this house about 4 or 5 years ago. 1. The salesperson told us the sample of Oak Saddle was a match. "That's your floor right there" (he sounded like he was convinced). While the color was a very close match, he did not disclose that the finish on the new hardwood was satin finished while our existing floors were glossy finished. One would think that business that spends so much money advertising on the most popular talk show station in the ATL area, would actually be on top of their game and truly trustworthy. That would be totally incorrect to assume. . Their installation department people are not at all professional. We had an appointment for them to install our floors today, the first words out of his mouth was that our house smelled. We've had the doors open for 3 days. There was no smell. Then he told us the floors were too damp. It rained the last three days, how was that our fault? Our floors were not wet at all. I think when he saw what furniture and appliances had to be moved he and his crew were too damn lazy and didn't want to move them. I would NOT recommend this... read more

The best thing I can say about this company is the customer service reps Rhonda and Charlene. First off I want to say they turned a two day job into a one day job. I knew it would be a problem. The head installer said he had to go to a party, so they rushed and left several things undone. After observing their work I noticed the carpet had a seam in it, the hallway downstairs had humps and Nails protruded out. The door jams weren't done. Should have reviewed these comments before ordering their service. Have a severe condition at juncture of the new and existing surfaces. The transfer is a tripping condition however the company and installer failed to respond to their own mistakes . The condition is more than a 3/8 in difference. Surely qualifies for a tripping condition.. Didn't even offer to look at except that nothing could be done..! ***
Terrible terrible ð??« terrible service The installer would not install my carpet that I already paid half on unless I gave him my credit card so he can use a square. I informed him that I was doing the other half through 50 floors and that they already have my credit card information. I Cannot Recommend the Tucker, GA location. At this point, I'm not sure whether the issue is a matter of incompetence or unethical practices, since I cannot get a response from the company, Over the past two months, I've been in dispute regarding an authorized charge to my credit card in the amount of $1300. Had carpet installed in three rooms. Extremely low quality. Wear marks in only a few months. When you walk on it you can feel the poor quality. Would never use them again.
