CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! THEY WILL PROMISE YOU INSTALLATION TO GET YOU TO CLOSE THE DEAL BUT THEN WHEN IT COMES TIME TO INSTALL THEY WILL CANCEL MULTIPLE TIMES, COME UP WITH ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER...WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL EVER ENCOUNTER.........USE EMPIRE CARPETS OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER UNLESS YOU DONT MIND BEING LIED TO AND MADE OUT AS A FOOL..MY WORST MISTAKE AND NIGHTMARE EVER...!!!! THEY SHOULD ACTUALLY BE SHUT DOWN!!!

Floors Direct will lie to you from the minute they open their mouths. The promotions they run are all lies: $388 for carpet is a lie, a room is 8x10 accosting them. $788 for vinyl flooring was a lie too. They charge you for waste yet didnt leave the extra materials for the space that was included in the price and not done (they said if you put it under the refrigerator and stove then it voids the warranty yet the salesperson measured all of that space in the kitchen). Only would accept cash or money transferred for the deposit (red flag). I had the deposit wired to them same day. After that they pretty much ignored me, customer service hung up on me, gave me the runaround on installation dates. Finally came to install (after apparently getting lost) showed up at 4:00 pm without any tools. They went to the hardware store to buy what they needed, worked until about 9:30 pm until they ram out of flooring to complete the job. Still waiting on them to come finish up. Where should I start? *********************** (representative) came out for the estimate. It went okay. Thought it was whether suspicious that he made two phone calls for a lower price after I said "Nope" that wasn't in the budget. I contracted NFD for carpet in two rooms and laminated wood flooring on the stairs and landing. WE scheduled two installations 2 weeks apart, carpets being 1st. I would not recommend using this company to anyone wishing to obtain quality product or workmanship. My experience with the sales rep was great, I ordered their Top of the line carpet and pad. After installation, it is as close to walking on plywood as one could conceive. I had asked for non metal thresholds, and received no thresholds. I contacted customer service to correct the problem, only to receive an extremely rude and snippy rep. No-show on installation date. Zero integration between sales and supply chain. Rude customer service. Don't think about using this firm.

I had carpet installed in November 2019, it's a year and a half now and the carpet is buckling. I called ********************** to have someone come and fix/repair the issue and the woman ******** (customer service rep) stated it would cost me $250.00 to have someone come out to fix. I told her I have documentation that clearly states 20 year wear & stain repair and she said that there is NOTHING she can do to assist other than charging me $250.00.My advise to anyone reading this DON'T BUY FROM NATIONAL FLOORS DIRECT go with... read more

This is a terrible company. They showed up at my office. They wanted payment up front and would not accept my business check and wanted cash. When I could not give them cash they left. Later they told me they would be by after 5:15pm. No one would be in the office and I offered customer service another day for installation, even at night. I was threatened with a $1000 penalty in addition to the $670 I owed for the installation.They should not be in business, very shady. ***** ******!!!**** F

Very shady practices. Beware. Two things that happened to me are:1 The contract says that you can cancel within 5 days, but when you do, they claim they didn't receive the cancellation request. Even showing the delivery receipt, they will charge 20% to cancel the order.2. The installation date that you set up with the representative isn't solid. **** ended up being pushed out by more than a month. Again, they wouldn't honor the cancellation request."
