national Floors direct is a poor company. Installer did not do the best work, but was able to hide the issues with molding, so i did not complain at the time, should have probably filed a complaint then. The floor started buckling at the 1 year **** and they refuse to fix it, unless i pay for them to do so. Sorry, for the money spent, the floor should last more than 1 year. The customer service line contacted me ten minutes prior to the end of their scheduled arrival time (at 11:50.. the window is 0730-1200) to inform me the truck had broken down. They refused to give further details, discuss expediting install to a closer day (the 17th was offered), and work with me at all. They were unapologetic, and ultimately hung up on me when I requested to hold for a manager. 5 months old floor moving when walked on theshold came up had to scew down called *** 3 month warenty wanted ****** to come out and look than change me to fix there poor workmenship .Do not use this ***Total job ******* not happy
This company's installers are nice and hard working but the Company itself business practises are unptofessional. An agent comes to your home looks at the job and writes it up and you agree on the price. You have to pay on the day BEFORE they start the job. That is when, after they have your money you are told that it will cost more for this of that. I paid for floating stairs to be wrapped with carpet. It was written up that way but when the installers came they tell me it was written up for a closed staircase. Not my mista... read more
Terrible experience! ********** gave me a quote for $1800. The *** salesman first quoted $2800 but when I told him about my first quote he said he'd match their price. I was scheduled for a Saturday install and it was now Tuesday evening around 7. He said *** would do the install on Friday. The color I wanted wouldn't be available for two weeks so I settled for a color he said they had in stock. He told me to give him a deposit and accepted my check. I was told the installer would remove the old carpet and install the new,but when the installer arrived he said I had to remove the old carpet,but I said no I had a bad back and what do I know of removing carpet, I was told to sign a form saying I wanted them to install the new carpet over the old,I was disgusted with them and I would never use their company again
on october 23 2021 The National Flooring Direct they semi completed the flooring in my laundry room by subcontractor installers. I am disappointed I chose this company because once installation was complete, and I paid in full my complaints were not handled well at all. The installation team stole from me, and they left exposed, very sharp nails poking out along the back of the newly carpeted stairs. Two of my children were injured and bleeding from stepping on the nails, and that is how I discovered what a terrible they actually did! The salesman came to my house as planned and gave me an estimate of about *****. When I told him that was way too high, he made a phone call and all of a sudden the price went down to just under ***** for one room of carpeting and a vinyl floor in a hallway and a den area. After deciding to go with them and make the deal, he insisted on a check or cash only for the deposit (this should have been the first red flag).
