AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL experience - never again will I use National Floors Direct. Met the salesman in my home on June ********************** my living, dining and small closet. Gave a check for a deposit of $1600 and an installation date was set for July 1st. (so much for "next day installation like they hawk on the commercials). I purchased laminate flooring for my kitchen a year ago and already the floor is deteriorating. I have contacted the company and their response was, that they only guarantee their work for 90 days, which to me is ridiculous for the price that I paid. So now for them to come out, is approx $250 plus materials. I will NEVER do business with them and recommend no one else do either.
I scheduled to have a representative from national floors direct to come to my home to get an estimate for two bedrooms, stairs and a hallway. They showed up and called and stated they were in my house, I said how are you in my house if no one let you know. He continued to explain it was a construction zone which I advised we was not in the correct townhouse. They tell you the date of installation and do not show? You think customers service will help you? No they tell you to call back, the installation men showed up at 625 pm on a school night, called the customer service agent closed at 6:00? The men work until **** am We should of never allowed it. We contacted our sale man with email and photos, he agreed horrible job. The company has yet to call us? I sent emails and photos now out money and with a horrible job?
I dont write reviews very often, but I was compelled to write this review because I simply dont want anyone else to experience what I have had to endure with National Floors Direct. In short, the contractor that installed my vinyl floor damaged the ceiling in my basement and National Floors Direct is refusing to fix it. In fact, the customer service manager that I spoke with said that it was impossible that they damaged the ceiling because We do floors, not ceilings. I am very disappointed in this company . They are scammers! They canceled my installation 4 times already. Customer service is very rude . They have no managers that will speak to you . Forget about getting your deposit back . I am seeing that they send sub contractors out that barely know what they are doing! I am scared for them to come to do the work which is scheduled for Sept 13! I may have to hire an attorney !!
I recently signed a contract with NFD to have some floors installed. They said they were ordering the floor and it would take 2 weeks to get it. A couple days before, they said there was a shipping delay and had to wait a few more days, so I said no big deal, it's only a few days. The sale rep told me that I had to sign the day he came to get the discount. I told him I needed to speak to my husband. He said I could change my carpet anytime. I called to change a few weeks after signing the paperwork and was told I could not change. The installer came and left as he didn't know what to do as I have a curved staircase. I bought for a low traffic bedroom an upgraded better carpet and padding and after one year it's bubbling up in 3 places, they said your 3 month guarantee over, 3 mos??! Very bad quality instaltion
