I would like to leave a review about my carpet but I cant because NFD has canceled my install 3 weekends in a row. I had financed my order and I have already been charged for a product I dont have! I have been lied to by costumer service and my order is apparently under o wrong name and have told them each time I have called. And I have called many times.

My floor installation took place today It was a very small bathroom floor with no tear out of the old floor lay over with laminate. Things started ok but ended badly with the installer sitting on my bathroom tub on the phone for about a half hour on a personal call while there was still floor to finish!!And his co workers took off in their van to go to another job mid way through the install.Needless to say at 6:30pm he is still waiting for the others to return to bring caulking to finish the install and give him a ride home... read more

Pricing model is usurious. Sales person came to quote a basement flooring job. He measured and showed me his most cost effective material. HIs initial quote was $16K but would accept $14k if I signed that day. I told him I was expecting a price of less that half of his quote. He made one phone call and came back with a new price of $7k! How is this possible? Same material, same job. Worst experience. Rate this company a 'minus' but not allowed so 1 star. TV ads are misleading as NO product can be delivered "the next day." We purchased flooring that was installed in early July. By July 29th the product was pulling away and buckling badly. We had 3 different representatives came out to look at it. Today is October 8th and a re-install was to take place today. NOPE. The installer said they cannot install the product as it will most likely buckle again. We are now waiting to hear from NFD as to how to solve... read more

Horrible service misleading about material they did a horrible job and noone can fix the problems they use contract to hold you hostage. The installation team didnt speak any English they didnt understand what i wanted done they just started throwing flooring down everything looks horrible. I asked for someone to come fix my hallway at least and they said no. These people are crooks !!!

Worst experience I've ever had with a company. Needed a time sensitive installation and was guaranteed by *************************** that it would be completed in time. Fast forward 3 hours later and they push the installation date back 4 days and won't let me cancel my order, all my emails are not being returned and customer service keeps hanging up on me. I would give this company a zero if I could. They called my house on install day 2 hours before installation day and said someone on crew is ill maybe COVID. I said ok reschedule then in another 7 days. I have plumber come out remove sink, toilet & shut off water. I advised sales, that I want to go around stove b/c of gas leak x2 in past. They said ok and it is on contract. Installer comes out and states that stove must be moved. I tell them to get started in bathroom. They call office complain & take pictures. I am writing a letter to express my deepest frustration with this company and how my recent installation is being handled. My original installation was scheduled for, Thursday, September 2nd. First off, handling installations with a notice on the day of installation is something this company should reconsider. I understand needing to allot for a full day for installation, but if there is only a 4-hour window provided for the actual arrival time, I cant imagine that information couldnt be provided at least 24 hours prior. I ordered from National Floors Direct only because i needed the carpets to be delivered at specified date (before I moved into my new home). The only reason I ordered was because I was promised the item was in stock and to be delivered on the agreed date. I order carpets that I didnt even prefer but I chose them because they were available and there was no wait time to order.I was called the day before my delivery date (mind you I took the day off from work) and was informed they dont have the carpets and need to reschedule ... read more
