I purchased a 5 year Gold ********* Protection Plan in 2014 from The Dump in Lombard Illinois. When I purchased the plan I was informed that I was covered for 5 years from any accidental damage that occurred. I saw The Dumps ad on TV and their website about the 1/5 price mattresses and I was very excited because I need new ones for our vacation retails. We drove over an hour to the Lombard store on Friday before drive to our rental properties. This was the first day of the 3 day sale. We walked to the back of the store and we were approached by a sales associate. We asked to see the mattresses in the TV ad and website, $4000 for $899 and $2000 for $199. I purchased a bed and frame from the Dump based on the displayed floor model. What was delivered did not match the floor model. Not mentioned or described by the Salesman was the fact that the stand, present on all floor models, was not part of the sale. They also neglected to even offer the optional brackets for a headboard, likely because that would have made it obvious that the frame wasn't included. We just purchased a dinning room set, table with 6 chairs. The set was delivered on 12-16-16. Besides the delivery being 2 hours late all seemed fine. Then on 12-21-16 a screw falls out of a chair. The screw will not stay because the wood insert was stripped during install or manufacturing. I called on 12-22-16 and I was told since I did not purchase an extended warranty there is nothing that can be done about it. Extended warranty, the set is not even a week old!

the name is completely and deservedly fitting ... this place is a DUMP. Their customer service is horrid, their sales people are lacking in every way imaginable and forget about receiving timely, quality deliveries. My husband and I purchased a queen mattress with and adjustable head and foot base. The delivery date was 7 days latter. The sale man and we discussed the removal and take away of the old mattress and box springs. Larry, the sales man, assured us they would do so, but only if there were no stains. Delivery is a JOKE So it started off nice and I did research online. Found The Dump and l was checking out one the of the dream deals. A very large sectional. The days of operation (weekends only) is very inconvenient. The customer support is a JOKE, you try to get information and they give you little to none, basically forces you to go to the store.. but this is not where my problem started. We are sorry that the customer is upset, however our drivers do not get paid for the stop if they fail to make the delivery. The delivery took place on 9/6 and our delivery team waited 30 minutes. The delivery dispatcher called the three numbers on the order and did reach the customer who said his Dad was at the home. There was no response at the address. Went into the Dump to purchase a sectional for my basement. Dimensions of the opening to basement and stairway was given to salesperson. When we picked out a sectional we were told that the dimensions would work and if there was concerns we could send it back. At delivery the individual sectional pieces would not fit into opening of the door. The delivery team did not want to remove the legs or wait for me to remove door or frame to door.
