Buyer Beware. Of all the stores I have purchased furniture from, this is by far the worse quality sofa we have ever purchased. I even purchased the extended protection plan that cannot be used since this is a "manufacturing" issue that happened two weeks after receipt of the sofas. First technician came out after two months of first reporting issue, made situation worse by breaking the front panel board and had case closed. After numerous phone calls and emails to customer support, a second tech (same tech) came out saw repa... read more

Hello, We are very sorry there have been multiple issues with the sofa. Our company does not make the furniture. We sell the furniture and uphold any warranty that comes with the furniture, or is purchased with a plan. We did pay for an outside technician, and the report that we got back was that the part that was ordered was installed as well as the wood panel issue taken care of. I agree with previous review. Dump furnitue has the worst I agree with previous review. Dump furnitue has the worst ever customer service and horrible way to deal with customers's issues. I bought sofa and a chair from lombard location. But one side of sofa started sinking with 4 months. So when I called customer service to cover under manufactuer warrenty. I was amazed that they can even lie big time to not honor manufacturer warrenty. They lied that tech has already looked at the sofa and there is nothing they can do. Firs... read more

Our shop manager made a house call, and did indeed inspect both the chair and the sofa. There are no vendor defects at this time. The customer did also purchase the protection plan and if there are any changes to the product that the customer feels is a vendor defect or accidental damage, they can call in for another service call for covered items. THE DUMP, LOMBARD IL, HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE TEAM I'VE EVER HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF DEALING WITH! I ORDER A KING KOIL 120TH ANNV 15" QUEEN EURO TOP MATTRESS ON 22 MAR 19! WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED ON 26 MAR 19, IT WAS NOT WHAT I ORDER! AS ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE IS SHOWED 15" WHEN I RECEIVED THE MATTRESS IT WAS ONLY 10"! THIS IS WHEN MY HELL BEGINS.! In October of 2018 I purchased a coffee table from them I even purchased the insurance all told I spent $650. Shortly after the finish on the table started peeling and got progressively worse it is peeling in areas where no one even does anything (the underside). To make a long story short the dump said it is an incident for GBS the Insurance company to handle, the insurance company sent out a technician from a 3rd party who said the table is poorly made and is a manufacturing issue. Purchased a mattress & box spring, cost about $1500. It was supposed to be a 15 cents on the dollar sale. I should have realized there would be something hinky when they charged me full price and then made a big deal about 2 issues. 1. It's not their problem if the mattress doesn't fit. It's mine. 2. If I refuse delivery for any reason or if no one is on site to receive the merchandise, I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. They brought this up twice with additional witnesses on their side. I bought a power recliner on July 16, 2018 fro The Dump. Within a week I was having problems due to the the mechanical parts hitting the wooden frame. They had a tech come out. He ordered parts and between when the parts were delivered and when he was available, the next appointment was on Sept. 19, 2018. It was the wrong parts, it's now October 20, 2018 and the other parts haven't arrived. Their customer service? Oh, we'll call you back by the end of the day...have heard that for a week.

First and last time shopping at The Dump. Purchase a round table with a wooden top and a metal base that it screwed into. Picked it up at the warehouse and 2 days later put it together. The top was tilted to one side. Upon inspection, the metal crossbars on the underside of the table top were pulled away from the wood causing the top to tilt.
