Hello, I spoke with ***************************, Installation Manager of American Carpet South, (ACS), telling him how unhappy I was when I saw the carpet being cut in the street. He said, "well that's how it's done for the size of carpet". He was very, very nasty and repulsive when speaking to me! He also lied and said that installers would clean the area, (section of street where new carpet was cut) which was not done. (he asked me if the street had oil marks on it, what does this mean?!?). Not only did they NO SHOW once, they NO SHOWED TWICE!! I ended up asking for a full refund from Home Depo. I went to a lot of trouble prepping the areas for installation, also missing a day of work therefore missing a days pay.Had I of read reviews on BBB I would of never bought carpet from Home Depo knowing ACS were the installers.
Poor workmanship. The installer did not use precision tool to cut the carpet. The job was not professional and the manager ******* stood behind the work
Absolutely worst company to deal with. After they botched my carpet install and baseboard they asked me to get a quote to fix the hack job they did by damaging my baseboard they refused to honor the quote or even pay for the demanded board. Will be seeking legal as this company is horrible to deal with and they are are also jot truthful about their call logs when you call to report a problem. Stay away from ********** and this company.

********** contracted "American Carpet South" to install my tile. The installers were courteous; however their work was sloppy. Per the installer's recommendation; I walked on the tile 48 hours following completion. I would give 0 stars if possible. ********** plus *** = companies passing the buck. When everything is contracted out, there is no accountability. I might as well install the **** carpet myself. The *** people are trained to be nice, which is helpful but it doesn't help solve problems. Telling me they can't remove the furniture (despite my emphatic offer to pay more, and a proposal that included the moving of furniture in the first place) is a line of BS. A C S is a sub Contractor for *********** lowes and other big box stores , I purchased flooring through ********** i had ********** come out and measure the job and check things out for levelness and water damage the job was 889 square feet I was told by ********** to buy 10% extra which I did, that included removing the carpet meanwhile we started painting our walls to match the flooring and our new furniture I decided to remove the carpet so I could paint down to the dare floor I left the linoleum down in the laundry room ... read more

With it being ACS first visit to the job sit our installers are required to recheck the installation area for leveling & flatness to qualify the install as per MFG specifications.
