Poor workmanship. The installer did not use precision tool to cut the carpet. The job was not professional and the manager ******* stood behind the work
Absolutely worst company to deal with. After they botched my carpet install and baseboard they asked me to get a quote to fix the hack job they did by damaging my baseboard they refused to honor the quote or even pay for the demanded board. Will be seeking legal as this company is horrible to deal with and they are are also jot truthful about their call logs when you call to report a problem. Stay away from ********** and this company.

We purchased carpet through ********** and American Carpet South was assigned as the sub to install it.The extortion: They arrived and claimed we had two pieces of oversized furniture that they had to charge us an extra $200 to move (by only a few feet) or else they wouldn't install the carpet. ********** contracted "American Carpet South" to install my tile. The installers were courteous; however their work was sloppy. Per the installer's recommendation; I walked on the tile 48 hours following completion. I would give 0 stars if possible. ********** plus *** = companies passing the buck. When everything is contracted out, there is no accountability. I might as well install the **** carpet myself. The *** people are trained to be nice, which is helpful but it doesn't help solve problems. Telling me they can't remove the furniture (despite my emphatic offer to pay more, and a proposal that included the moving of furniture in the first place) is a line of BS. A C S is a sub Contractor for *********** lowes and other big box stores , I purchased flooring through ********** i had ********** come out and measure the job and check things out for levelness and water damage the job was 889 square feet I was told by ********** to buy 10% extra which I did, that included removing the carpet meanwhile we started painting our walls to match the flooring and our new furniture I decided to remove the carpet so I could paint down to the dare floor I left the linoleum down in the laundry room ... read more
ACS worst company ever. They never called me back to make an assessment on the damage they did. It was a complete nightmare of a company. I was always complaining from day one. First when they came they did an incomplete job. They did not have according to them enough materials to complete the job of installing the floor. After a few days of a nightmare, they broke the door to my furnace and did not properly make a hole to match the drain on the floor. It was a complete disaster. The came to my home to install vinyl flooring. The installer walked on my floor and upon a visual inspection immediately ascertained that he needed to level my floor. He said he could patch, but it would all need to be leveled. I asked how much and he called "management." Needless to say, I was pretty upset over the immediate upcharge and vague responses I received.
