I usually do not write reviews, but I feel the need to warn people of their deceptive warranty practices. I bought a mattress from The Dump in ***** At the time, I was advised to buy a mattress protector to ensure that the warranty is honored and I did just that. Soon after buying the mattress, the mattress started to sag. It literally was PULLING TEETH to even get a response. No one would answer the phone. I left voicemails with no response. I have been buying furniture from the DUMP for over 15 years now and my current experience with your store has been horrible. I purchased the bedroom furniture on February 15, 2021 with the understanding that the furniture would not be delivered until the beginning of May. Late April, I called the the Dump to inquire about my delivery and I was informed that the furniture was in "transit" and should be delivered in the middle of May. I ordered a dining table, six chairs and a bench from Haynes (Newport News, VA store) on March 12, 2021. I was told that the table and chairs would be available for delivery by April 12 and the bench would arrive by May 12, 2021. As the April date neared I called Haynes to speak to the sales rep and get a status on the chairs and table. The sales rep's voicemail said that he no longer worked there and referred me to another sales rep. We bought our furniture Jan. 04 2021!! The worst communication with customers of deliveries. They first said March. Then we called in March to follow up and they said it is going to be May. Still lack of communication we called again iin may asking where our furniture was? They said for 2 side tables and love seat and sofa and recliner. DO NOT GO THERE! My wife and I went Saturday, since we are moving to a new apartment we need to upgrade our furniture, we visit other stores before going there, but before we make a purchase we want to see our options, The Dump was the last stop in our furniture search... Purchased a remote recliner that worked temporarily. Have contacted customer service on numerous occasions with no resolve. I'm paying for a recliner that is not operational with no resolution from this company.

We bought furniture at Haynes furniture on hull street in Richmond va. Furniture as delivered piece meal which was ok however it was delivered at 9 pm at night. Upon purchase we quailed fir a redemption reward a 50" television from . I attempted calling to redeem every of March 2021. I am now in mid March with one excuse after another from Haynes with our sales rep. I spoke to today and they told us he didn't even know if they dealt with Haynes anymore. ZERO STARS!! Terrible terrible experience will never shop or recommend. Had a sales rep follow us around like a shadow even though we advised we were just looking. Worse than shopping for a car. When we finally found something we liked we placed the order confirmed the info was correct on the computer screen dotted the I's crossed the T's and left. got home to realize the rep who asked " you want everything you see here" left off the ottoman. I ordered a table and chair set in Nov 2020. They said the chairs would arrive in the warehouse in Virginia first. Then the table second. Turned out the table was available but the chairs wouldn't be until the following week. A week goes by, no phone call or any kind of communications.
