Feature Enhancements

Facebook Description Management

  • What changed: Added a dedicated field for your Facebook About/Bio description, kept separate from the existing Privacy & Legal description field.
  • Why it matters: Ensures the right description shows up in the right place on your Facebook profile, so your business bio displays correctly instead of legal text appearing where your bio should be.
  • How to check it out: In your Business Profile under the Facebook fields (also available via Bulk Update and the Public API). NOTE: Facebook Description Management is scheduled to become available on September 8, 2026.

Physician Profile Enhancements

  • What changed: Replaced short free-text fields with structured, expandable entries for education, hospital affiliations, and accepted insurances, and added new fields for conditions treated and procedures performed.
  • Why it matters: Gives physicians a more complete and accurate public profile, helping patients find the right provider and reducing booking drop-off caused by missing information.
  • How to check it out: Available when editing a Physician Profile.

AI Search

Feature Enhancements

Cross-Report Tag Filters

  • What changed: Added the ability to filter themes and prompts by tags across multiple AI Search reports at once.
  • Why it matters: Makes it faster to find and compare relevant insights across reports without manually filtering each one individually.
  • How to check it out: Available in AI Search reporting via the new tag filter option.

AI Search Design Enhancements

  • What changed: Made a series of design and usability improvements throughout AI Search, including refined tooltips and general polish.
  • Why it matters: Makes AI Search easier and more intuitive to use day-to-day.
  • How to check it out: Visible throughout the AI Search experience.

Other

AI Search Rename

  • What changed: "Search AI" is now called "AI Search" throughout the dashboard, emails, notifications, and exported reports.
  • Why it matters: Provides clearer, more consistent naming across the product and Birdeye's website.
  • How to check it out: The new name now appears everywhere Search AI previously did.

New Capabilities

Agentic Features Included with Reviews

  • What changed: Agentic AI capabilities are now included as part of the standard Reviews offering.
  • Why it matters: Gives more customers access to AI-powered automation in Reviews without needing a separate add-on.
  • How to check it out: Available automatically within Reviews — no setup required for base agentic features.

Ticketing

New Capabilities

Agentic Features Included with Ticketing

  • What changed: Agentic AI capabilities are now included as part of the standard Ticketing offering.
  • Why it matters: Gives more customers access to AI-powered automation in Ticketing without needing a separate add-on.
  • How to check it out: Available automatically within Ticketing — no setup required for base agentic features.

Marketing Automation

New Capabilities

Configurable ROI Reporting

  • What changed: Added configurable ROI reporting that connects campaign engagement (opens, clicks) to downstream outcomes like appointments, orders, and calls — with the ability to download results.
  • Why it matters: Shows the real business return on your campaigns, not just engagement numbers, so you can measure what actually converts.
  • How to check it out: In Marketing Automation → Campaigns, open a campaign's detail view and go to the Outcomes tab — use the download icon there to export the full conversion data as an Excel file.

Surveys

New Capabilities

Survey Expiration

  • What changed: Added two independent ways to close off a survey to new responses: closing the survey itself, or closing just the links sent through a specific Email or SMS campaign. You can set an automatic close date, customize the message respondents see once it's closed, and give anyone mid-survey a short grace period to finish. Surveys can also be closed manually at any time.
  • Why it matters: Lets you run an ongoing survey (like a continuous NPS program) indefinitely, while still making sure each campaign's links stop collecting responses after a reasonable window — so you're not getting answers from someone who opens a months-old email. It also means outdated responses no longer skew your results.
  • How to check it out: In the survey builder, go to Settings → Expiration to set an automatic close date and customize the closed-survey message. When sending via Email or SMS, you can additionally set a stricter expiration just for that campaign's links. To close a survey immediately, use the overflow menu → Close now.

Reports

New Capabilities

Non-Sign-In Report Links

  • What changed: Added an admin setting that lets scheduled report and dashboard email links open without requiring the recipient to log in, with an optional expiration window for those links.
  • Why it matters: Makes it easier for stakeholders without a Birdeye login — like executives or clients — to view reports, while giving admins control over how long and how securely links stay active.
  • How to check it out: Under Reports & Dashboards settings, admins can enable non-sign-in links and set an expiration period.
