I bought this 2006 manual yaris 3 door hatch in queensland with 230000km For only $1000 unregistered. The only thing wrong was the roof was faded. Got a roadworthy certificate and nothing was wrong with it. So registered same day. I drove it everywhere in brisbane for a couple of months. Then decided to drive it all the way from brisbane to perth. Went perfect. Drove up to 160km per hour. Passed trucks with ease. Really tough little car. Easy to drive. Fit alot of luggage so plenty of space. Now iam in perth and six months l... read more

Would without hesitation endorse this car, we have the 1300 auto and has all the power we need and very economical to run, great on the open road as well as around town. Bought a Honda Jazz as well 1300 manual and have to say I prefer this myself but both are excellent value. Don't believe what the test drivers say in the mags, these are real world cars for real people in the real world.

Bought my Toyota yaris manual sedan in 2008 brand new. I've had no issues with it mechanically and it just runs and runs. It's done 108 000 ks and still drives like it did 6 years ago! Lots of cup holders and space to put things considering it's small size. Boot space is deep although the entrance is smaller meaning larger items have trouble entering the space. My only issue is the clutch is very small and the car can stall easily. It can also make changes of gear a bit jerky I found. However with that size engine I wouldn't... read more

We bought this vehicle new from northpoint toyota at Hillcrest S.A. in December of 2011. It was the new 2012 model and we have been very happy with the cars performance. We looked around at Mazda ,Suzuki and Honda but value for money and the smaller motor were reasons we settled on the Yaris. The car is reliable and has bluetooth for the phone and electronic windows.

Having owned a Toyota Corolla Verso in the UK for 3 years, we decided to stay with Toyota when we moved here. At the time, we got the Yaris without on the road costs, since we were also purchasing a RAV4 at the same time (we've since replaced that with another RAV4), so i've always considered the car good value for money. The Yaris has done 90,000kms in almost 7 years, including several interstate trips (without much needed cruise control). Back in 2006/2007, the only other small/mini sedans on the market were Korean (Kia R... read more

I purchased my Yaris Yrx (1.5L, 5 door manual), brand new late in 2007. Which makes it about 3 years that I've been driving the car. My previous cars were a Mazda3 (2004 model) and a Ford Tesla (1984 model). The Drive. The car is responsive (0-100km in... no idea) and is fairly stable for a small car on the road. You do feel the occasional bumps (not more then the Mazda3) but for a car of this size it's still smooth. Parking the Yaris is a joy, the places you can fit it into is surprising. It is a bit noisy on the inside es... read more

It is a great car easy to drive and I felt very comfortable at the wheel, the handbrake is in the usual position not like the camry a foot operated hand brake. What I would like to know how does the passenger control the car if the driver happens to have a medical situation and the hand brake is foot operated????

I purchased a 2007 yr manual hatch in 2012 with 160000kms for $6000 as a temporary car as I couldn't afford to run my commodore anymore, now 3 years later its still going strong with 210000kms on the clock & I love it!!!! Very economical getting approx 600kms/40L fuel, heaps of storage compartments, very safe with abs brake assist driver & passenger airbags, all the cool stuff power windows electric power steering drive by wire mp3 compatible cd player full digital display. Excellent runaround car or first car, highly recomm... read more

Purchased new in 2009 from Toyota dealer. Never had a problem, now done 50k plus km, very economical to run and maintain, interior space exceptional for a small car. Easy to drive in city traffic but still handles a long trip without disappointment. Nicely designed and built for a car of this price and is better than some cars costing quite a bit more. Would buy again without hesitation but no need to as this one has got a lot of enjoyable life left in it.
