So my experience first began last Thursday 9/19/19 for a “free in home estimate” - one would assume this means the consultant would come out - take measurements - show floor samples - give a quote - and be on their way. This was true up until that last part “be on their way” - we received our estimate and informed our sales rep MARTY that we had found a huge mold issue upstairs that very morning with a leaking tub that needed to be completely removed and replaced and needed just until the end of day to organize our finances ... read more

I tried to change my installation time and was unable to do so without paying a fine. I was led to believe by the sales person that I could change it when the main office called to confirm 48 hours before the instal date. However, I tried to change the date and was unable to without paying an extra $150. I also was slightly annoyed when I had to hand over the certified check before the work was completed. I usually pay people once the job is done and I am satisfied. Fortunately for me the installer did a good job.

The sales man was very helpful to what I need carpet to my basement but national floor direct sent me the worst contract . Two young guys they started @9:30 am and finished 3pm took all day !! , they hammered damaged my baseboards many places, the lining not even, when I walk on there is bumpy, when got to my house they demand for me to pay in full before the job done. This company is a complete farce. I was shopping on speed and had them come to my house for a quote. I told them on a Tuesday only showme samples that you have in stock that can be installed by Saturday. The rep faked a phone call to his stock manager, asked me to sign for a rush to guarantee delivery for something he knew he didnt have in stock. Floors are decent. Installers left with three doors off of the hinges. All needed to be shaved to fit the new floor. I called the company. They told me that I didn’t read the fine print of the contract (that National isn’t responsible for making sure that doors work after installation). I told the company that we had not been told this. Where do I start! BUYER BEWARE...this company is unethical and unprofessional. Sales Director Larry was so rude & antagonistic we decided to cancel our order. We will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General as well as BBB.

Their add states they’ll beat any estimates by 15% or its free. Scam!!!! I gave them an estimate with ********* flooring that was $3000 lower than theirs and they will not stand by their add. The salesman sat in my kitchen saying no one will beat my price several times. Will never recommend them. I said to them you’d rather have an angry customer that will give a bad review on all websites than stand by your add. I guess they don’t care.

How do use them in the past with a positive result. This second install is still not completed and was installed incorrectly and still has not been installed to my satisfaction. Promises were made but not kept . I will not use this company again.
