One of the worst experiences we ever had, cost us money to follow their cancellation policies. The sales experience was out of a mafia movie.
The carpet installation was poor, just wanted them out of my place , you have to pay in full before they even bring materials in or even let you examine them. They claimed Flooring by Bruce from home depot was the Armstrong flooring they advertise . Their Customer Service is ridiculous, waiting an average of 40 min. A call . and they have a book of responses for their customers, . AWFUL! LIES! Everything the sales person told us was a lie. Dylan P***** was our sales representative who came to our house. DO NOT LET THIS MAN WALK INTO YOUR HOUSE! Although he seemed nice, he told us one thing on multiple areas and what he wrote in our contract was entirely different!! Dylan walked us through the product and the installation details. Run! ... do not walk away from this company Every aspect of our interaction with this firm has been a study in bait and switch tactics, straight up lies, and fraud in the inducement and delivery of this purchase! Scammers. They're currently scamming me. Had an estimate on a Saturday, nice guy, very honest. Booked a simple, small carpet installation for Thursday, five days later. Awesome. Great. I get a call Monday to confirm. All set. On Wednesday around 11 a.m. I get a call to say that there was a warehouse issue and my installation must now be postponed to the following Friday -- eight days after the agreed upon date. This operation is a complete bait and switch. Sales person shows up in your home, you tell them what you want and they show you a carpet that they say will meet those expectations. When they show up to install it, it is worse than builders grade carpet, lowers the value of my home just by being installed, and worse, the company refuses to do anything about it when called. This company is a complete joke. First the guy shows up at my house and makes the incorrect measurements somebody named David K**** Second they claim they will not start the job until its paid in full. They next proceed to call to verify the rest of the carpet needed to finish the job was available and in the warehouse. They claim it was and they will be back tomorrow to finish the job. I would rate them less than one. I needed a wood floor installed quickly. While the television advertisement they run said $999 for a room of hardwood, the salesperson said that was for a 10 x 12 room, even though my room was 10 x 12. He insisted on a check for a deposit which I now understand because you could stop payment on a credit card for unsatisfactory work. If I could give them a negative, I would. Let's start with the salesperson, who I told I needed to replace the carpet at a reasonable price for resale. The opinionated chatterbox stated "what do people do when they first move in? Rip out the carpet." NONE of his business and offered something out of a horror show.
