Very shady sales practices. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT with them unless you know what you want and have other quotes. The will give you a "today" price and another that is twice as much and valid for 30 days. In the "todays price" contract you will be waiving your 3 day right to cancel contract, will have absolutely no recourse if you change your mind or have problems. I would give them 0 stars if possible. They are scammers and crooks! The free home estimate is all a lie. They tried to play games with me and tried to sneak in extra charges! Everything was supposed to be included and they three days later called and tried to charge me for ripping up flooring I didnt even have. I called to reschedule and I was told it would be a fee attached, because I called one day before my appointment. I read my pre installment agreement and it doesn't state anything about a fee for rescheduling.Also I never received a copy of my contract as promised by the sales representative...
This company has poor scheduling, horrible installers that do not speak English. Paying half deposit in cash, money order or bank check. Before installation payment must be paid. Salesman should inform customer of tiles chosen should vary in color!
National Floor direct asks you to pay a deposit then they come back to double check the measurements and want payment in full before they do the work. I worked for a flooring company for years and never did my company ask for payment before any work was done. They sent 2 men who couldnt even speak English, just said pay and sign.
The sales person was good and patient. However, I felt pressured to sign and did so with the knowledge that cancellation could be done by 3rd business day (business days being M-F). However, when cancelling via email on 2nd business day -- Mind you, salesperson left my home near midnight on a Friday night), I also called to confirm receipt of my notice. We purchase laminate flooring in July 2021. Less than 1 year later. There is a 6 inch crack in one of the floor panels, 2 others are moving and show gaps which need to be fix and one was incorrectly installed (it was short and never corrected). When I sent pics of the floor as requested, I received a phone call stating the warranty had expired (only 3 months from date of installation which we were not told about). 1st experience was ok but during 2nd time I had to reschedule installation because my baby was born on the same day when installation was scheduled and they charged $250 for rescheduling. Manager ************************* was so bad and has no customer experience I guess, she would not understand family situation. Even though I wanted to push the installation few weeks away she kept on refusing and making me mail the full payment overnight even before installation. National Floors Direct is a huge scam. They try to strong arm you into signing a waiver of a 3 day cancellation policy that you have to hand write. They don't take credit cards and ask that you pay in cash or a money order, BUT they will take your personal check and copy of your license for a down payment. They are unethical, shady and send Sales Reps that are unprofessional and pushy.
