I would like to start off by saying how extremely disgusted I am by the experience and unprofessionalism of NFD!!! The only guarantee is that the installation is correct - the rug quality is poor and will not last After 5 months the stairs are completely worn out They are very misleading in guaranteeing their work during sales - be very careful If you are a contractor do not use these people their prices are high and the quality of the product is poor.
My husband and I hired National Floors direct after the salesman, *******, so charismatically pulled us in. BIG MISTAKE. We were promised "quick install" if we locked by putting down a $2,200 deposit in that day; guaranteed 2 weeks from that day. Installers never showed. Company never called. They first didn't answer the phone, then *************** up on my husband, then told us the installer was in a car accident and they had no backup plan for that sort of thing. - Extremely High starting prices, do your research.- Document everything on contract.I should have believed all the negative reviews on BBB. Be careful of any company with over 300 complaints in 12 months. Ex National Floors Direct Sales person will start prices very high. Beware!! This company is horrendous. They are just a marketing company, who sends out salesman, who pressure you into signing a contract and paying a deposit. I am warning whoever is reading this, do not sign anything before reading their contract. Their salesmen will promise you a bunch of stuff but it will not be in the contract, so it doesn't matter. I haven't had the installment yet. I did not give a deposit and I want to cancel all together. I missed the 3 day cancelation date and they won't let me cancel. They don't have the vinyl in stock and pushed back the date of installment.
TERRIBLE. It started with salesperson for National Floors Direct outright lying to us saying installation could be changed,as he knew we needed more time due to circumstances. National Floors Direct agents have not answered any phone calls or emails , other than telling me I need to send them more money. The Salesman said they would get the permit for floor installation needed in ******* on March 7th. I was later told I would have to pay for permit although they were not registered in my town as yet. I sent a certified check and notarized form, overnight mailed it 2 times, as directed. I am shocked to see an A rating with BBB. We had seen the ads on Television and we assumed NFD would be top with service. Never saw or heard from salesperson after the first meeting. Zero follow up. Customers get passed on immediately to schedulers and then to contractors not with the company who come and do the job. Lack of ownership is the exact opposite of what we expected.
