I have never written a bad review until now. I have no words for the horrific job they did. And after sending films and photos of the wretched job they did, they finally put the carpet in correctly. HOWEVER they did not pull up some carpet or glued piece underneath the new carpet... they laid it down on top of the glued carpet they couldn't pull up from the botched job... Worst experience ever! We were mislead and taken in every step of the way. The reason for one star was because they did do a good job putting in a piece of carpeting in a small bedroom. The original price they gave was $6,000 over a quote we got from a local flooring store, but NFD had free financing for a year. The colors chosen were not the same as were shown for both kitchen and hardwood floors in the dining room. Horrible customer service - extra charges ($700) in middle of installation, cash or bank check only on a Federal Holiday and on a day where I was forced to stay home for install and therefore have no transportation to get $700; now they are leaving, with my old carpet in their van and my sons sleepover birthday party is tonight in the room with now no ****** at all. Customer Svc said it's my fault. Worst company ever.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I live in South ** and saw their commercial on TV. I am one of the very few success stories because I did my research after I signed the 22 page (not sure exactly how many pages but it was on their iPad and very long ). A lot of fine print the sales rep ******* thru that you don't seeI even signed a notebook piece of paper giving up my three day buyers remorse period for quick installation and NFD will cancel your installation date as the contract reads, they have 2 months to install your flooring,. ... read more

I placed an order and specifically picked a carpet that was in stock. I asked to reschedule installation due to a unforeseen work conflict (coworkers have covid and I had to work) I was told no I must be there or pay $250 to reschedule. I kept the original install date and within 24 hours of install NFD called to change my installation date because they don't have the materials that I was told were in stock when I ordered. National Floors Direct is good at enticing you by bragging about good prices then the salesman comes in quotes a price much higher than expected with room to haggle, secondly the product is garbage, there's a hole in my floating floor and when I called I was 5 days out of the warranty, so I had to sign a release. When the repair guys came they said I needed more material. I then get a call and was advised I'd have to pay an additional $400 to get them to fix the floor for additional materials! If I could rate this a 0 star, I would. National Floors Direct has not delivered a product as promised. They cancelled my appts twice after I set aside personal time to be home for them. When installers arrived, the carpet was not the correct carpet, it was not what I purchased. It was a very low grade carpet, I ordered plush. The installers didn't have enough padding, they attempted to cut out and puzzle together padding. The sales rep lied to us about the number of installers, lied and said the installers are part of their company when they were subbed out, lied about what they were going to install, and when the installers damaged the fan blades on my ceiling fan, said they were not going to replace them.
