Surveys

New Capabilities

Survey question IDs in the API

What changed: The survey responses API now returns a unique ID for each survey question.

Why it matters: Makes it easier to reliably match responses to specific questions when building reports or integrations.

How to check it out: Available now via the survey responses API endpoint (Link)

Survey response channel in the API

What changed: The survey responses API now indicates the channel (email, text, link, or preview) each response came through.

Why it matters: Helps you understand which channels drive the most survey engagement so you can focus your outreach effectively.

How to check it out: Available now via the survey responses API endpoint (Link)

Location-level survey metrics via API

What changed: Survey send counts, response counts, response rates, and average scores are now available by location through the API.

Why it matters: Lets you pull survey performance data directly into your own reporting tools, without manual work.

How to check it out: Available now through Birdeye's open API.

Feature Enhancement

Survey data in daily SFTP exports

What changed: The daily SFTP data export now includes survey-sent records in addition to survey responses.

Why it matters: Gives a complete picture of survey activity — sends and responses together — in a single feed, making it easier to measure survey performance.

How to check it out: Available in your existing daily data export file.

Listings

Feature Enhancement

Bing listing update delay notification

What changed: A banner now appears in the platform to let customers know when Bing listing updates are experiencing delays.

Why it matters: Customers get proactive, clear communication about delays outside of Birdeye's control, reducing confusion and unnecessary support inquiries.

How to check it out: Look for the banner at the top of your dashboard when a delay is active.

Reports

Feature Enhancement

Top/Bottom Performing widget row limits

What changed: You can now limit how many rows appear in Top/Bottom Performing report widgets (e.g., show only the top 3, 5, or 10).

Why it matters: Makes reports easier to read and focused on the results that matter most, whether you're spotlighting top performers or flagging locations that need attention.

How to check it out: When configuring a Top/Bottom Performing widget in the Reports tab, set your preferred row limit.

Insights

New Capability

Multi-language analysis for reviews and survey responses

What changed: Insights can now analyze reviews and survey responses written in multiple languages, automatically detecting language and translating content as needed.

Why it matters: Get one unified view of customer sentiment, themes, and trends — no matter what language your customers write in — while still being able to view original responses for context.

How to check it out: Available now in the Insights section for accounts receiving multi-language feedback.

Brand Identity

Feature Enhancement

Brand detail synchronization

What changed: Behind-the-scenes updates now ensure related content automatically reflects changes whenever brand details (like brand name or colors) are updated.

Why it matters: Keeps brand-related content consistent and up to date without requiring manual updates each time brand details change.

How to check it out: No action needed — this works automatically whenever brand details are updated.

Platform

New Capability

Account access restriction notifications

What changed: Users now receive an email notification if their account access is restricted due to suspicious activity detected in campaign templates.

Why it matters: Replaces a previously silent lockout with clear communication, helping users quickly understand what happened and how to restore access — reducing confusion and support tickets.

How to check it out: Automatically triggered — affected users will see an email in the inbox linked to their account, with next steps to regain access.
