I entered a contract with National Floors Direct (NFD) to remove tile and install Mohawk Laminate. The salesman was pushy and skipped over pages of the contract. He advised they didnt take credit cards as they had issues with charge backs after subcontractors were paid. The installation crew arrived with no tools to remove the tile. They left and returned with a demolition hammer to remove the tile but admitted this was the incorrect tool which resulted in damage to my slab. Do NOT do business with this company as they are all business, ***************** policies. They will use that to dispute any issue you may have. November I signed a contract over phone consisting of small print & provided a $2,000 personal check as a retainer & was provide contract via email & a December installation was set with final payment. Im very unhappy with this company The out the door price of this company is truthfully is not out the door price. expect to pay at least $4000 more for what they give you a price for. ********* Area Be Aware!!! Professional scam artist. They write their contracts wrong to make you in breech of your contract and request more money in cash or money order to have no recourse to get your money back. Be cautious of companies with poor workmanship. Our experience with this company's luxury vinyl plank installation in December 2024 was extremely disappointing. Don't be swayed by the salesman's promises. We were initially told that our existing flooring needed to be removed, but the installer insisted on laying it on top. We contacted the company, and they instructed us to follow the installer's advice. The contract was changed, and installation began. Please note that they do not allow bad reviews on their actual website - when you go to submit a review, the site does not allow you to post - showing, again, that their practices are corrupt and questionable. Junk and no warranty!Don't bother with this company! We had our floors installed 3 years ago and they are already coming up and falling apart.They, and the manufacturer of the flooring, who I can't get the name of, won't cover 3 pieces of flooring that clearly have issues. By pictures I was asked to send, they are refusing any help or service. They are saying we damaged the product, which is just normal wear and tear.Don't waste your money, go elsewhere!
My experience with National Floors Direct has been incredibly disappointing and upsetting. They are unethical and deceitful. I had my free in home estimate today. The initial start of the visit was positive. The sales representative appeared knowledgeable and caring about my needs. When it came down to pricing there were two options one lower if I committed today and the other higher if I waited.
