The sales person lied and told us that they did not hire outside installers. We had an in depth conversation about it. This is the WORST COMPANY *** EVER DELT WITH ! They cash a deposit and refuse to pay back for cancellation of installation saying the certified letter didnt get there on time Then tell u right before that a letter of cancellation needs to sent I am beyond ****** and this is not the end

I had a tight timeline to get floors done because father was getting surgery and we needed a ground floor bathroom available. The salesman used this as leverage to get me to sign away my right to cancel so that they could get them done in time. They lied and pushed the date two weeks. Terrible company, terrible ethics and no customer service. Do not use them.

National Floors Direct does not adequately respond to customer complaints. They never let you speak to a Manager, and they don't sign their letters when they do respond. We had flooring installed in our kitchen, we paid 4K. The installation warranty was said to be 90 days. Our floor started cracking all the way across at about 6 months - NFD would not even look at our floor even after we sent pictures. I had two other flooring contractors come out and they stated the floor was installed incorrectly and would have to be torn ... read more

I used NFD two years ago for my flooring (they sprung an additional $650 charge on me in the middle of the installation) and my bedroom carpeting (which actually went well). Recently, due to a water problem, I needed the bedroom carpet replaced. The salesman, ******* *****, took the order. The problem is he did not include the closet area, even though we discussed it and they had the record, and dimensions, of my previous installation. He and I both agreed on the color.
