Don't waste your time. Had appt set for 9:00, got text around 09:45 saying they would be here at 10:45, at 11:00 got another text saying they would be here at 11:45. This is got an in home estimate. When I called the guy to let him know we would find someone else, he acted like he didn't care. If it's this hard to get an estimate hate to see what rest of the process would be like.

The WORST carpet I've ever felt! The padding is basically non existent. They only offer one thickness in their padding and its so thin you might as well not have it at all. Padding and carpet thickness were very important to us. I was told by ******* the salesman that it would be soft and thick and the best padding they offer. I paid $1,534.00 on October 21st @2:52 P.M. 2021 to have carpet installed on my staiprs and in the hallway. The installation was scheduled for November 8th, 2021. The installers arrived at my home, but they had the wrong shade of carpet. I have been calling every since that date and no one will return my call. In 3 days it will be a month since I paid 50 Floors and I still do not have any carpet installed and no one will advise me of when I can have it installed. This company should be put out of business. We hired this terrible terrible company 50 Floor, if we had looked them up on bbb before we wouldn't be in this situation. May 17,2021 is when our problem started. No follow up telling us anything after the 5 week wait. I called finally got back with me a few days later, saying the floors were still not back. We waited a few more weeks we called tried to cancel told us we would have to pay a fee. They came the first set of workers walked off and wouldn't start the job. Two more cam... read more

I scheduled an appointment for 10/30/31 at 11:00 am. I was told there would be a two-hour window. When no one had shown up by 1:00 p.m. I called the 800 number. Latoria informed me that the Newport News office had a computer issue and they were not receiving all of their appointments and that someone should have called to reschedule. I told her today was the only day I had available and would not be able to reschedule. I had 2 floors installed in September. One was an engineered wood floor and the install went smoothly and the floor is beautiful. I also had my lanai tiled by another contractor with 50 Floor. They did not bring enough of the color tile I ordered and so I settled for several tiles of a lighter color against the back wall. I was told not to walk on the floor for 1-2 days and when I did I noticed that white grout had been applied. I had ordered brown grout. Everything went well with 50 floor until installation day. I was given a two hour arrival time of 11-1. The installers arrived at 1:30 with no apology or call to say they would be late. Immediately I was told my stairs were not included and that they had no material for them. My stairs were CLEARLY included on my estimate and receipt! We went back and forth for a half an hour before 50 floor called to say that the sales rep never added my stairs to the diagram for order. Terrible company! Our salesperson took our order and never called back when we had questions and concerns. The installers were sloppy and poured the unused floor mixture down our sewer grate in the garage, which has now caused problems with my plumbing. The installers never called when they were coming. Service department was terrible. They never followed up to ask how we like the product. Floor is uneven in some spots in the kitchen. Very unprofessional work. Not happy and would not recommend to anyone.

Ummmm the experience started off okay until installation yesterday. During the walk through and estimate, I was not made aware of the fact that any of my doors wouldn't fit due to the carpet installation. Soooooo upon completion, all my doors had been taken off of my hinges (8 doors) and no longer fit. When I called back they let me know that they are not carpenters and this was my job to remedy. If this was explained to me during the estimate appointment, I may have made another choice or opted to not get carpet in my close... read more
