On 04/07/2021, I placed an order with Charles **** to have 3 rooms of flooring installed. Within 2 weeks of placing my order I hadn't heard anything about when my floors were going to be installed. I called Charles **** twice and left a voicemail in which he never responded to. I then called the company and left a message with the answering service. I got a call back and was told my flooring hadn't come in yet. I have since called back and the answering machine said it was closed. Today is 05/05/2021 and I have yet to hear b... read more

In Nov. 20 last yr. I had 50 Floor install vinyl plank flooring to two rooms. The installer was late arriving spoke very poor English and was accompanied by his relative both had to be reminded to put on their mask several times. In the process the workers blocked my storage cabinet with tile, broke the bottom of my dishwasher, left two heating vents covers off the wall, broke my back storm door closer while taking out some furniture to make room to lay some tile. Bought vinyl for kitchen and washroom. When the floor was put down in the beginning they knocked a chunk out of the edge of the china cabinet. They also scratched my hardwood floors in the living room with the refrigerator. They sent someone out to examine the damage. He stated because my floors were over 20 years old they were flaking. Long post. But, several issues. We had a consultation with the 50 Floor salesperson who came to discuss our wood floor options. We were looking to change our carpet to wood flooring for the family room. He provided several samples and my husband and I, and the salesman agreed that "Saddle" was the closet color to what was on our existing flooring in the kitchen and living room which butts up against the family room. Job was estimated with EVERYTHING including floor leveling included. We wanted no surprises. 2.Workers refused to work in masks. 2. No protective sheeting was used. 3. Ceramic tile was cut in our home, spewing and tracking dust everywhere. 4. Workers used OUR garbage bags, cleaning products and tools. We are getting estimates from multiple flooring companies before finalizing our decision on flooring. Unfortunately before the salesman came, I had to take our dog to an emergency vet appointment. My husband kept the appointment and texted me at one point indicating how unimpressed he was with the salesman. He said he was condescending and insulting, not allowing my husband to choose a floor, but told him "this is the floor you need in your home", then implying we were "cheap" because we wanted luxury vinyl plank as opposed ... read more

Today and every day when I enter my kitchen and I look at the floor that was installed I get angry. It's been over 108 days since my last communication with 50 Floor, and that was initiated by them asking for a balance due. I explained that inferior installation on their part caused and is causing rips, tears and holes in the flooring. I said they wouldn't get another dime until the made the repairs or re install, correctly. Very upset, dissatisfied customer. I've had to call 3 times and they would send someone everytime didn't do their job now my kitchen flooring is starting to separate which it shouldn't be doing that. The work that they do looks awful. I've called several times and sent several pictures to Gregory Upson but he never would call back or anything. He was ignoring our calls. Awful experience. I got LVP placed in my kitchen. The installers installed the flooring over top the feet of my dishwasher. I was unaware of this until I had to have my dishwasher repaired. The repair man was unable to get the dishwasher out but because it was en emergent situation he had to get it out. It then because of how the floors were installed, my dishwasher was broken and the countertop. The company took no responsibility for this except that none of that was a part of the warranty of the floors. They had no interes... read more
