The install started a month ago. I t was a 3 day job. Half of the floor was done satisfactorily. On the third day 1 guy showed up at 2:30 ,stayed until 7:30. He didn't finish the job and it was done sloppily.I waited . Finally got hold of a ****** ( a supervisor) . He told me that a few projects were being done and scheduled me for THREE WEEKS. ( REALLY!?) I waited . 3Weeks came, the guys came, and said they didn't have the materials, someone would be out the next day. After a call to ****** who was no help , I AM STILL WAIT... read more

Negotiated a deal with 50 Floor for 3 rooms of carpet. The day comes for the installers to come and was given a timeframe of 10am-12pm. They show up at 130PM. Immediately I can sense something is wrong and low and behold they didn't bring enough carpet. I guess the warehouse cut the carpet 20ft to short, even though they had all the measurements. I got my floor installed and did notice a few little things that I did not worry about, but the "floating floor" has seperated in a few spots and buckled in a few other. I called and left a message for the only person that handles these situations. When she called back she had to leave me a message, and very shortly thereafter I called right back and have left several messages for her since. Purchased carpet for 3 floors in my home. Mix up with install date took entire morning to find out although I was on the main schedule I was not on the installers schedule. Terrible installation, Installers did not have attachment for the vacuum so they used a dirty broom to sweep debris off the stairs .I have a very obvious seam running the width of the room. Let's start with they don't deserve a 1 stars they deserve nothing and people need to lose their job at the office located in Capitol Hill, MD Location ( don't purchase anything from them ) I had my floor done not even a year yet and they are splitting, I have several conversation by email, phone calls, (3) site visit and (2) schedule appointments with no luck.. they either don't return calls or emails, and when you have to follow up they have attitude with you . On 04/07/2021, I placed an order with Charles **** to have 3 rooms of flooring installed. Within 2 weeks of placing my order I hadn't heard anything about when my floors were going to be installed. I called Charles **** twice and left a voicemail in which he never responded to. I then called the company and left a message with the answering service. In Nov. 20 last yr. I had 50 Floor install vinyl plank flooring to two rooms. The installer was late arriving spoke very poor English and was accompanied by his relative both had to be reminded to put on their mask several times. In the process the workers blocked my storage cabinet with tile, broke the bottom of my dishwasher, left two heating vents covers off the wall, broke my back storm door closer while taking out some furniture to make room to lay some tile. Bought vinyl for kitchen and washroom. When the floor was put down in the beginning they knocked a chunk out of the edge of the china cabinet. They also scratched my hardwood floors in the living room with the refrigerator. They sent someone out to examine the damage. He stated because my floors were over 20 years old they were flaking. Long post. But, several issues. We had a consultation with the 50 Floor salesperson who came to discuss our wood floor options. We were looking to change our carpet to wood flooring for the family room. He provided several samples and my husband and I, and the salesman agreed that "Saddle" was the closet color to what was on our existing flooring in the kitchen and living room which butts up against the family room.
