My floors where installed 15 months ago. They are buckling. I have had 2 flooring companies to inspect and pull the trim and the flooring is too tight with no room to expand. I spent $7800.00 with no cooperation. I'm being told from customer service that I need a termite inspection. REALLY? I'm totally upset & I was hung up on. Gee..great customer service. I'm not sitting for this. I hate confrontation, but I'm not getting run over. I'm reaching out to the owners. Please help me resolve this.

The process prior to me having my carpet installed was very easy, the aftermath however was just ridiculous and disturbing. The day after install I realized the installers blow a fuse to my downstairs bedroom while using a carpet seamer. I realized this because the bedroom light and ceiling fan no longer worked. I went to the fuse box and flipped the switch but now the ceiling fan only worked and not the light. I wish I could give ZERO stars! This company is as sleazy as it gets! The way their contact is worded...their installers can completely ruin every base board in your house and they are not liable, even if it is clearly blatant negligence on the installer's part. You will be left to float the bill. Once you sign your contract you will never hear from the sales person again! I would never buy a carpet from 50 Floors every again. They ripped us off on price at $3,164 over $50/sqaure feet for a 40 oz with density carpet at 3,295 and trying to replace it with a density carpet at 2,005 for 515 square feet area. I was told by a certified carpet expert that I should have gotten at least a 60 oz to well over 72 oz for the price they charged me to begin with and now they are trying to pawn a muncher lesser quality density on me when I was already getting ripped off to begin with. We had salesperson arrive and we reviewed and selected the flooring we wanted. We had carpet in the house over parkay flooring. Salesperson said it would not be any problem to install new laminate floor over the parkay once old carpet was removed. We explained to him several times that the parkay was original to the house built in 1965 and was not in very good shape. Again he said it wouldn't be a problem. 50 Floors customer service pretends to want to help, they are soooo nice to you and making you feel they are there to help to just come back and tell you exactly what the owners we dealt with at the carpet dealership said which were flat out deceit. They over charged us to begin with when I told my friend what I was charged they said I got totally ripped off. Complaint against 50 Floor Probably one of the worst experiences ever with a flooring company, and I am sorry we did not read the reviews beforehand as the complaints are similar to ours but the amount of negative reviews posted it is a wonder that this company is actually still in business!! what a difference 6 years make. In 2016 we had 50 floor carpet our upstairs $20,000+....incredible job!!! 6 years later we called them in April 2020 to put down laminate in one room on the main level that had been carpeted. Our current flooring, Shaw Cinnamon Oak, was no longer available so the salesman, Eric ********* suggested two others....we checked grain and color and chose one.
