Carpet itself is nice and good quality. However a worker cut his hand badly and it got blood all over the carpet, it wasnt until I called the company to make sure that he wouldnt use the ****** carpet, that the destroyed carpet was removed. Then when job was done we noticed a huge smudge on our ceilings where they must have hit it with the roll of carpet. Got talked into signing a contract without first securing financing. Later when we could NOT get enough financing for our project --- had to pay enormous fees and penalties to cancel order and restock materials that NEVER left their site. Our salesman (you know who you are) has done us a great disservice. Our project will eventually get done, but it WILL NOT be by NFD.
Did horrible job. Cut rug too short. Damaged entry doors and woodwork. Installed different pad than purchased on stairs. I questioned it but they did not speak or understand ******* and said ********. I called c/s while they were here and they spoke to the installedr but still in a live call he told the c/s operator I told them to do what makes her happy she will be nothing but trouble. Great c/s. In less than one year, my tongue and groove vinyl floor was as starting to come up at the edges and corner was cracked in one area of our room. I called seeking assistance and Thr representative would not stand behind their product. Says it was not an installation issue or product defeat. Most disappointing is they will not allow customers to speak with any manager or supervisor above the Customer Rep. I was told it was their policy. Our carpets are TERRIBLE quality!!!! The company is unresponsive to our concerns!! I havent even paid off the carpets and they look ten years old!!!! Their customer service wont even come out to look at the true problems with the carpets!! They are only seven months old and we are going to need new flooring because of how awful the look!! Our experience with National Flooring was HORRIFIC!The sales rep blatantly lied on every count to make a sale. The sale was based on misrepresentation and lies. 1. The sample shown was materially different from the planks ordered for us. The sample intentionally omitted the design elements of the rest of the plank. If we had seen the entire plank, we would have never selected it. 2. 2 weeks ago I had NFD come out to quote new flooring for my home. They gave me a price and then lowered it to more than half if I signed today. I explained that I still had 3 other contractors coming to give me a price on the job and I wasn't comfortable signing anything. He said no problem, If you decide to go with us you won't get that cheap of a price and it will probably go up about $1,000. I was fine with that. I purchased carpet for my bedroom. It was not in stock so I waited 10 days for the install. The installer arrived. He insisted on payment before he would start. I paid cash and had him sign I paid. He started working alone moving heavy furniture and the bed. I stayed out of his way so he could work. The next time I checked on him he had removed the old carpet and was installing the new carpet. HORRIBLE! Not only are their prices about double of what I got from two local, reputable, brick and mortar stores - for the SAME ************** - but the guy took advantage of me being a single woman and WOULD NOT LEAVE MY HOME! He kept trying the hard sell even though I showed him the quotes I received. It became VERY uncomfortable and I finally got him to leave. BUT then he came back to the door!
